ive been trying to do the same thing for the past…i dont even know.haha. but im getting better and better, ive been only working on the first phrase, cause its just a peice that i play off and on, and you just have to keep practicing. my piano teacher told me that the only thing you can do is just practice the rythm, and to never play one hand at a time, just to play them both together, ...so thats what ive been doing, and im starting to get better at playing them both.
You may want to learn some easier songs first. I have wanted to play this song years before I ever touched a piano. After learning the 1st movement, I wanted to move on to the 3rd but found it was way too difficult at the time.
Since then (it’s been 2 years), I have learned a number of pieces that are shorter but still have about the same rythmic difficulty (although at a slower tempo). Now that I’m learning the 3rd movement, I am making fairly quick progress, with the only trick being to change the melody from the right hand to the left smoothly (ie, no pause and switching the dynamic level so that the left is now louder than the right).
Belowen84 is looking forward to 3:30pm (hometime!)
It’s best to master the technique before attempting to play the song, so do some exercises and practice practice practice until you get it right! :)
