My room is REALLY small, too. I need to redo it now just because it is sort of little kiddish, but the last time that I redid my room, it was for the sole purpose of making it seem bigger. What I did was I painted the walls a really light color. Not white, cause that would make me feel like I was in one of those mental instutions with padded walls, but I did it a light shade of yellow. It really brightened the fell of the room and made it seem alot bigger. Light colors are best for making little rooms look bigger.
