go there. i’m an american living in paris for 5 months. go there and talk to anybody, everybody. do NOT speak english! this is the hardest part, because everyone is fascinated by americans and wants to practice their english.
even if you can’t go their, find some native speakers to talk to and just regularly talk to them only in french…ask them questions, ask for their help, ask them how to say certain things…
