I’ve received e-mail notifications for several questions on “learn how to use 43 Things”, but when I clicked on the link, I got the “Page not found” message:
Why am I unable to push the button to complete a goal on my site?
My guess is, and I agree with the fact that, this question was deleted for being, um, asinine.
What I think would help with those who fear censorship or the like, is to have instead some kind of page explaining why the question was closed. The question should still be unsearchable, and the page should not contain the text of the question, so that search engines won’t index crap.

I was wondering the same thing, so I asked one of the people I had provided an answer to. They indicated that when they had asked the question, it had added the learn how to use 43things goal to their list. When they removed that goal from their list, their question (and my response) was automatically deleted (which is normal functioning if you delete a goal from your list without marking it complete or giving up on it.)
I think it’s because people delete the questions after they submit them, but I’ll check with Buster when we’re at the Co-op today.

Um, dandv? Why do you ask questions, then turn around and answer them? Just curious?

Because the “Ask a question” UI consists of a one-line text box (hint ;-), and sometimes I need to provide more information in order to get a useful answer. The only method to do so besides using my alter-ego account is to “Answer” the question. BTW, any real answers on this one? It starts to smell rotten…

OOOO,an alter-ego acct? Sounds Kinky? And when everyone referred to “the robots” I thought they meant that many of the operating systems of 43T were on sort of an auto-pilot. I did not realize they were ” real people ” I kept saying the “trolls” this the “trolls” that. Cause I did not like the auto-pilot very much :(

ps Dude, I saw the chart you made on the frequency that certain peoples goals came up, and you need to put your own name on your list of “43 Addicts” Oh, and Jul Wants to have a healthy baby, was at the bottom of your page LOL!

So sorry, I did not have any cheery left last night to give:( But yes, at times I can be oblivious and my inner blonde does come out :D Darn you’re going to make me work for you alter-ego humm ok let’s see if I can figure out “four clicks”? I still have not given you a Mc Name yet so be on your toes Mr statistics which will NOT be it cause it is WAY too long! LOL!
