http://www.mindtools.com/ may have something which can help you to get organised… It covers many different aspects of people’s lives including time management and stress management… It may help :)
Hi Laura,
Happy to try to help you on this one BUT I’m in some crappy hotel with a line speed slower than you can imagine. It’s 4am in the morning and i got 6 hour drive home ! Promise to get back to you soon.
I am one of the most organized people I know, so I can totally help out with this. In fact, I should become a personal organizer.. hmmm…
I think the first step is finding out where you are disorganized, and why. You can temporarily organize yourself, but until you find out why you are disorganized, why you lean toward that behavior, you’re going to keep being disorganized. Now, I have never been a disorganized person, so I don’t know how to help you with the mindset. I can just do the physical, sorry.
Take it one step at a time. Start with a smaller room, such as your kitchen or bathroom. The best thing to do is, go through the entire room and throw away or give away everything that is expired, almost empty, or not used enough to justify taking up space. BE HARSH. Once this is done, you can begin the next step, which is organizing the stuff that remains. How you do that is up to you. You may have to spend a little bit of money on containers and stuff, but really, it’s totally worth it. Do this with your entire house.
