Around the end of July I’m going to be tripping to Kansas from Southern California. Would you want to come with?

Be nice if you had a page on your site that gave a quick overview of your progress and your planned route (if you have any).
I see you’ve got San Fransisco and Yosemite on your list. Good. Highly recommended.
For the Southwest I would recommend The Grand Canyon (one tribe has built a glass bridge over one of the taller cliffs), Tent Rocks, New Mexico, the Sandia Tramway just outside of Albuquerque, Red Rock Canyon outside of Las Vegas, and of course Monument Valley. Really, in that one region alone there’s enough for a lifetime, let alone a road trip.
I live in Alexandria VA just outside of DC and would be happy to show you around to some of the sites here or just share coffee. Not sure what insights I could provide towards happiness, but willing to talk about it.
I guess you know that Gump’s bench is actually in Savannah, GA; I’ve seen this. Mall of America is overrated, but worth a look. You might try going through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and, if you have time, go to Mackinac Island.
sure thing. i’m in austin, tx right now, but will be in california (los angeles, then san francisco) come july. i’ll be there for an indefinite amount of time, before possibly heading back to texas (i’m doing the travel thing all over again).
