When I went and got a facial I was recommended to take a zinc picolinate supplement to stop zits from developing from inside my body. I am also taking b-complex to help heal current injuries to my skin, etc. And I am taking the fish oils, like B-6, etc partly because I don’t eat a lot of fish. Those are just some ideas for natural supplements that you can try. Also, recently I was told about one pill that pulls all of those things together! I am thinking about taking it because I would prefer one pill to three… Unfortunately the information I have on the pill are at home, so I will write again later with the details. I hope this helps!
thank you very much stepfanknee
I actually take like 10 fish oil capsules a day, and I just started this week, and hopefully I will see some results soon.
I will also take in consideration the other supplements that you’ve listed.
So are these supplements helping you?
Hows the progress on the STOP PICKING goal?
I had a major picking session last week, OH..its was beyond horrible, I owe my friend 5 bucks now, because we made a bet. This is sort of helping me stop…I havnt picked in a couple good days, I force myself to paint, or something instead.
I was recommended to use these Naturally CLEAR (brand name) oral supplements. I am considering it because it is everything that I already take but in one pill.
OlyaSurits, I am not sure whether the supplements are helping me or not because I have put so many actions into place at one time. But I think that they have helped me. I have had many days were I only pick at a few things which is good, and today I haven’t picked at anything! I am trying to continue that goal…
Good luck with the goal!
I took acutane, it made my skin way worse. I remember feeling pretty sick. I think it’s a similar pill. I think you should avoid milk. I hear it is the worst thing for skin, also too much bread or sugar. Try drinking pomegranet juice it’s an antioxident. Also the first and only thing that has worked for me is a chemical but I got it at a spa. It’s called rejuvaderm. It goes on light, makes you look kind of red before bed. In about a week my skin seemed as though it had finally become balanced, which is the key to combating acne. Finding a balance and (moisturize) clean and clear works the best and it’s cheap. Now that I’m a little older I have learned this works. My skin isn’t perfect (I am afterall a girl) but it honestly has gotten ten times better. Radiant even.
I’ve had luck with Nivea’s YOUNG oil controlling 3 step cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. There are no harsh chemicals, it is supposed to balance your skin out. It is light blue. It is for oily skin, though, so if that doesn’t fit your skin type don’t use it as it might make it worse. For me, I have slightly oily skin but I have noticed since using it that my skin is clearer and fresher looking.
i also had bad acne as a teen. had been to several dermatologists and consultants at private and nhs clinics.
in the end i ended up rattling like a chemist shop. ive taken eurythrymicin tetracycline, lymecycline, ive used lotions and topical creams which dried my poor skin out. now im on the Pill and its actually working! my periods had stopped for about4 months due to my increased stress which as a catch 22 made my skin bad also. so going on it re-started them and also cleared my skin up.
ive been using neutrogena skin care from the ‘visibly clear’ range and that is oil free and also very good.
all_is_on I want to STOP already!!
I recently found a product by Burt’s Bees, it’s an herbal blemish stick labeled 99.90% natural, so I suppose it’s pretty natural, haha. I’ve only used it a few times, but I like it, it seems to work pretty good. It has an odd black licorice smell though; some thing I don’t like, but you might! Hope this helps!
