From what I’ve found on the Internet and from trainers, is that its ok to not feel sore. There’s also what might be desribed as a ‘good pain’, and that’s okay too, but for toning muscles- there’s no relation to actually feeling sore and whether you’re getting results. You should feel the muscles are tired (and rest them 24-48 hrs).
The general consensus is that that muscles are sore when you put too much stress on them and there are microscopic injuries to the muscle tissue. They used to blame sore muscles on latic acid buildup, but researchers have found that your body actually clears that out in about 30-60 minuets. Anyways, injuries are not good, and therefore, if you do not feel sore, you are doing it correctly!
