yes! any pictures count! if i could, i’d show you some of my pictures.. some of the best have been taken on my phone. if they were better quality i would sell prints that i would make, they’re just too small for it. go for anything, sometimes, you can be tecting, you hit the camera button and you realize your phone has an amazing view of the trees that you’ve never looked at before.

Yes! My phone camera has good resolution. The problem I have with the phone pictures is that when I am taking them, I do not have a clear image of what I am taking. Also it does not have the steady shot feature that my digial camcorder does. Many of the pictures turn out blurry.

I happened to take a picture with my phone camera yesterday. I saw a flower with BEAUTIFUL colors that I wanted to capture.

I agree on that. Any picture counts, even if it was taken with an old shoebox :)

Sure! They should count, look at those great pictures up there; I love the little boy with the grandma.
I take so many pictures with my phone by accident whenever I click the button; usually they are covered by my finger, so those don’t count.

I don’t have a phone that takes pictures and I often don’t have my camera with me when I see a good picture. The phone camera seems to me to be like a sketch book that artist use to record an impression.
A book I like is David Finn’s book, “How to Look at Everything” and with a phone camera you can also record it. So do pictures on you phone count? I would say most defiantly.

Of course. But when I’m taking pictures with my camera I try to take at least three or four of the same thing so at least one turns out presentable.

for sure they count. i wish i had a camera phone, i wish i had a cell phone period. it broke. camera phones have such good resolution now how could they not count?

Does any one know any cell phone pictrue websites? Or competitions? i really want to see more great cell phone pictures

Phone Cameras will be used more and more now that the larger megapixel camera phones have arrived in the US (There are 8 megapixel camera phones in Europe and Asia). Also, a book just came out showing really good shots taken by camera phone. There are websites to which you can upload your own photos for use with your other digital/online photos but I’m not sure about the rules on publishing a business address. Sorry.
