moving to a new house that doesn’t have a fence made this no big deal. i walk the dogs (we’ve added one since last i posted) twice a day / every day. usually it’s a lot of fun.

montana let me know today that she was not interested in being a part of my 5k training runs. 3/4s of the way through my training run today my basset hound laid down and stopped. this was her way of saying “enough already!” needless to say we walked the rest of the way.

i’ll run by myself from now on.

i’ve been working on running a 5k. i figured my daily mile and a half walk with montana was as good away to start as any. i was wrong. basset hounds cn walk all day long but apparently they only like to run at human speed for about a half of a mile.

i haven’t been walking montana as much during the holidays but i did get a couple of miles twice last week.

i missed walking montana last week but i was able to walk montana one and a half miles tonight.

the CHRISTmas lights are almost all up
