How I did it: Ever since I turned 18 I've always aspired to get a tattoo and I have thought of numerous ideas that I had pictured to be a good idea. The problem with my thinking though is that I was only looking for things that would look "cool" on my body, but instead I should have been thinking about something that had a special meaning to me. I joined the U.S. Navy over a year ago for a couple reasons, one of them being to travel the world. How I did it: I was coming home on leave from a 7 month deployment and I had scheduled the jump with a local company back in my hometown. I told my friends about it and they were in much support of me and one decided to join me in my jump! Despite the cost I had to experience this wonderful rush of adrenaline. How I did it: I kind of cheated because I saw my first foreign country via the US Navy (I'm active duty). My first port visit was Manila, Phillipines and I had a blast. The exchange rate at the time was $1 USD = 43 peso so beer was incredibly cheap! Read how I did it… 22 months ago
