My wife and I had a home study conducted through an agency, but left it up to ourselves to find a baby. It only took weeks to find birthparents, and the baby was born six weeks after that.

Many people pay tens of thousands of dollars to go through an agency and get put on a list. That’s not the only way to do it. If you are ambitious and determined, you can find babies on your own.

My wife and I took custody of a baby girl last spring, the process will be complete in the end of June.

Right now we have the opportunity to adopt a little boy with special needs.

I’ve decided that the only way I’m going to read all of the books on my shelf is by getting rid of the ones I most likely won’t read. So far so good. I make one trip to goodwill each month.
