When are you introducing your furry friend to us? :P 19 hours ago
I don’t know if it was the Irish water, the fresh air, the good time there or just the Dovobet cream but I look much better…I had a hair cut today and dreaded what my scalp would look like but to my surprise, it’s not so bad!
Time will tell if it really is going. 2 days ago
Ah the things they make us do for profit! I hope you find your cure… I’m sure it’s out there somewhere! :) 3 days ago
I used to be asthmatic but it went with age…. I had an allergy to pollen too but it went last year and hasn’t come back this year…The 2 things I think helped was sports and supplementing my diet with probiotics and antioxidants… 3 days ago
...this time from this morning’s ministry with Jimmy D. He was relating to me his experience in Bolivia… People there are humble and hungry for spiritual food. The picture he painted was beautiful. I could see myself there. Weather close to what my skin needs, nice people, cheaper conditions, a language I can speak,an opportunity to feel more fulfilled spiritually.I am drawn. Is it the next move for me? Time and prayer will tell…
But in the interim I realise that the excitement, fulfillment I’m looking for is right here, not in the places I keep looking… 4 days ago
David defeated Goliath against the odds. Eliab his brother and Saul the king, both big guys, didn’t take up the challenge. They thought David had no chance. But he had a secret weapon. He relied on Jah, the God of the impossible.
To defeat our own Goliath we need to do the same. Rely on the God of impossible. Nothing’s impossible for him. It’s a stupid mistake to rely on our puny selves instead… 6 days ago
There I am, looking for inspiration… Can I get it here?
I think I might. The view from where I’m staying is quaint enough! 1 week ago
...puts its foot down with a firm hand if we push it too hard. Hope you get your batteries fully recharged soon :) 1 week ago
Totally on the same wavelength there… Noam Chomski said it, Stephen Hawking said it too (as well as other scientists), our species is on a self destruction course(physically AND spiritually I might add). If we don’t sober up collectively and the worse happens, the Earth has more chances to survive than us. 1 week ago
There are so many things obscuring the view: man’s achievements, endeavours and brags… It’s all in my face. Like the matrix. A whole contrived world pulled in front of our eyes so we can’t see the truth.
We discover amazing things in nature, laws, principles, beauty, functionality and name them after ourselves. But we only discovered what was already there. We didn’t invent it. Why do we take so much credit for it? What about the creator? Credit should be given where it’s due.
But that’s going against the grain. We’re bombarded with messages deifying our wants, desires, thoughts and discarding God.
To counter this, I’m gonna feed myself more with programmes about nature and the universe than about the puny man. 1 week ago
No denying the cream works. No itch last night. I can already see an improvement. A pity I can’t use it on my face and a pity it’s just a temporary solution. Oh well! 2 weeks ago
My take from today. We all have fears. Identifying our worse fears provide an insight in our inner selves. But fears are very often just ego driven. We fear to lose face, recognition, acceptance….But even if those fears materialise (and let’s face it, in some cases they do) our life is still worth a lot more than any of these things. Failing at everything doesn’t really make us worthless. We just perceive that it does.
On the flipside, what we enjoy doing for the sake of doing it, even if no recognition, compensation or remuneration comes our way is probably what would be our calling.
Finding one’s calling can never be a failure. 2 weeks ago
My take from today: The past is a construct. It’s events that we re-interpret. Sometimes we are completely wrong, especially when we’re young. By the time we’re adults, we are bound to have made up a few stories about ourselves and others that are not accurate and that hold us down. 2 weeks ago
Today I’m grateful for
...My skin is tighter today than any other day. Especially on my face. Kinda funny. I can’t frown but smiling is still easy.
It’s true what they say, frowning uses more muscles than smiling!!! 2 weeks ago
What’s my take away from today? Mmmmh… Well,I think I have quite simple needs….
I would be perfectly happy in an old shack as long as it’s sunny, I’ve got my music and writing gear and the only surrounding noise is the sound of the waves crashing against the shore… I’m not fussy :P 2 weeks ago
I found this mentor on the Interweb who struck a chord with me. I am following his programme to help uproot my past mental patterns and embrace the ones I want. I’ve had the programme for a while but didn’t focus enough or do the activities. Starting from today, I’m taking this seriously. 2 weeks ago
Going there for the second time in 10 days-ish.
I’ll be staying in a better place than I have now, good company, great experiences hopefully. Otherwise I’ll return worse than an angry bird. I’ll return a really angry man. Nah. I refuse to let it happen. 2 weeks ago
