I try to avoid stepping on the scale every day, so it’s been about two weeks since I have weighed myself… Seriously… I weighed myself on thanksgiving- who does that? Anyway, as of today, I am going in the right direction.

My starting weight was 170; I weighed in at 154 today. :D That’s 16 lbs. Only 4 more until 20! And 14 more until my goal weight! Passing the half way mark feels pretty good, and calculating my BMI as “healthy” (although only .1 under the overweight mark of 25) really felt good too.

Hopefully I can make it to 20 lost by Christmas! 17 months ago

So, I haven’t weighed myself in a few weeks, and saw a scale at the gym today when I went to go for a run (but actually decided to run outside… because I changed my mind like that).

Needless to say, I stepped on… I moved the little weight thing to 160, and that was too heavy…. what? I was so excited, because that was 10 lbs less than I was before… I finished weighing myself and was at 157- 13 lbs less than my starting weight.

Lose ten pounds is done :D 20 months ago

I registered for my school’s homecoming 5k. I am really excited; I hope I can run the whole thing and not have to walk it.

I have noticed running makes me feel better now too, but finding the time is hard. 20 months ago

UGHHH!

I am up one pound from my last weigh in… still though, I am five pounds down.

I think, my next grocery shopping trip will be limited to healthy foods. (No chips, no ice cream, no naughty foods in general).

Only 5 lbs to go for this goal, and 25 to my goal weight. 21 months ago

Gah! I need to stop obsessively weighing myself. Even though it appears that I am going in the right direction (down 5.5 lbs)... Quite seriously, that’s two consecutive days I’ve weighed myself (and if I eat anything I’ll prolly weigh more than yesterday. LOL.)

On a different note, I am going to try and push myself a little harder on my run today. Fingers crossed that I don’t cause myself serious pain.

Only 24 pounds until my goal weight… this ten pound goal is seeming more and more attainable.

I decided to weigh myself today; I’ve been honestly trying my best to avoid stepping on the scale every day (it tends to lead to disappointment when my weight hasn’t changed- weekly is alright though, because usually it’s a couple pounds)... but it gets hard.

Besides the point, however, my weight is down 4 lbs from my starting weight. I am pretty excited about that. I weigh what I did around christmastime this past year.

6 more pounds to go before I mark this goal off. :)

And only 25.5 lbs to lose before I reach my goal weight of 140. 22 months ago

So, I went to the doctor a couple weeks ago, and I was put on antidepressants… with orders to work out every other day and start eating healthier.

Totally makes a difference. I am starting to feel like my old self- happy again.

I’m looking forward to moving into my apartment, and I am excited about lot of other things now.

I’m not marking this off, though, until I feel like I can be happy without the aid of pills. 22 months ago

Today, I put on a normally tight pair of pants, and they fit perfectly again… haven’t weighed myself today, but I thought I’d share.

I haven’t felt sexy in my skinny jeans in a long time, but today, they feel just perfect.

No muffin top, no wrestling to get into my pants. They fit like the day I bought them (before I put on about ten pounds in college).

Maybe working out and eating right is starting to pay off. 22 months ago

I’m down three pounds… not as fast as I would have hoped, but I am going in the right direction.

I am trying to make healthier choices (cutting out fast food is tough, but I’m working on it).

Seven more to go until I’ve lost ten.

I am planning on graduating in fall of 2012 with a degree in Earth Science. I am just hoping that I’ll get an internship next summer with the Department of Natural Resources or something of the like. 23 months ago
