A march of Ghost Elephants29.Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?

Yeah. I was alone in my apartment at the time. The precursing event does not matter now although how I dealt with it does. It has led me to where I am now. My actions or lackoff. 10 months ago

A march of Ghost Elephants28.Has your greatest fear ever come true?

My friends and family gone and me being paralysed, unable to act and react with the world is my greatest fear.

Thats never happened, I cant begin to imagine. Fears of dissapointment, failure, rejection all pale in comparison to that.
Is that the aim of this question? to show how absurd it is that our biggest fears go above our heads while smaller insignificant fears have a grip on us? 10 months ago

27.Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first?

No because truth is obscured by our own and others’ perceptions. Truth is perceived to according to ones circumstances/experiences/dreams. I believe that through us the truth is tainted and diluted, incomplete like a broken mirror. Truth is also perfection. Our imperfect minds can only come close. 10 months ago

A march of Ghost ElephantsI often think this too.

In a lot of cases I think that people are buried underneath all that depression/anxiety.
We’re all too hard on ourselves Im sure you’re not THAT boring.

If you are then

1.) Read a lot
2.) Do outlandish/interesting things that you’ll talk about
3.) Convince yourself that you are not boring – The most awesome people I know are the ones who managed to delude themselves and the people around them that they’re more than they actually were. << 10 months ago

Family, music, gym.

Good laughs are few and between.
That would be it. Those were the only constants all these years come to think of it. From a glance it does not seem to be a lot. I wonder, would adding more to that list make me even happier? 10 months ago

If I possesed absolute invisibility I would

1.) Make people believe they are under attack by poltergeists.

2.)Get a free airplane ride.

3.) This sounds stalker/ish and it is, watch the ex and her kids. 10 months ago

’’People talking to me makes me terrified, people ignoring me makes me want to die and/or cry’‘

This I know all too well, its so irrational and you know it! Youre not giving yourself a way out here, its always going to be a lose/lose situation. Now that you are aware of this thought and see the discrepancy try and think about the situation in a different way. 10 months ago

A march of Ghost ElephantsWristcutters

very underrated film. Its a film that you either love or hate, boils down to taste.

Its about these 2 people who fall in love after killing themselves. You cant get much more original than that.

As for the rest of those movies, Ive never even heard of them. They sound v. interesting though…. 10 months ago

A march of Ghost ElephantsHair

Almost to my belly button. It was epic.
Very uncommon for a guy. In the end it just took too much effort to maintain.
Last straw was going on holiday to malaysia.
Heat+humidity felt like I was wearing an oily mop.

I still miss it sometimes though. 10 months ago

A march of Ghost Elephants3.

Try and talk my way out of it until he momentarily gets distracted, then I will seize my chance. If that moment never comes, I’ll go all out at the end. Im not one to go quietly.

If by some stroke of luck the tables turn on him, I hope he has a plan because Im not as sympathetic or forgiving.

I wont have the balls to kill him, but I would definitely shoot his leg or both. 10 months ago

A march of Ghost ElephantsAn acquaintance of mine

ran into ORLANDO BLOOM, and w/o recognising him asked how to work the parking ticket machine.

They were shooting the Hobbit down here.

I cant decide which is funnier, himbeing cluless or him not knowing how to work a ticket machine.

In a separate incident, my friend was doing a geodetic survey of a beach when an Old man asked him what he was doing.
Said friend was annoyed more than anything and tells the old man a load of crap.

Lo and behold clueless friend was later told he was talking to Sir Ian Mckellen. 10 months ago

go in a continous cycle of ebb and flow.
Yep feelings come, go and change.
I also believe that they lie to you.

I realised how the world, changes form and takes on a different shade depending on ‘how you feel’, something someone said could be taken in many different ways.
Problems arise when you take it the wrong way. I like to think that events that happen outside my body are initially random and meaningless. I’ll retreat to my space and try and think things through, instead of getting caught up in how I feel and judging things on the spot. 10 months ago

A march of Ghost ElephantsTv/internet

means mostly entertainment for most people most of the time.

I think it becomes destructive when youve immersed yourself so deeply in it that it becomes the thing you turn to when youre bored. I have this problem.

When the cause and effect lines are blurred and reversed.

‘Im bored so I’ll watch Tv’,

‘I’ll watch tv because I dont what to be bored’

‘Ill watch some Tv because I dont know what else to do with my time’. < is when it becomes entirely something else. 10 months ago

A march of Ghost ElephantsStreaked

across a camp settlement.

It was the easter holidays of 2008 I believe. There was this campsite where Tents were pitched facing each other between them space for the cars/trailers to drive through.

So you had this long stretch of path and about 30 tents on either side. I lost a bet, well purposely because I really wanted to do something nuts.

It was 2am, took my boxers off and just went for it like a bawss. Ive never run so hard. There was a mini-hill at the end of it and I slipped as I was near the top, had the mean ass burnage

Good times, I wish I had more stories like that. 10 months ago

A march of Ghost ElephantsOh man

from reading your previous posts we have the same problem of finding band members!

I over the years have learnt to play other instruments/programming because I couldnt find the right people for my type of music.

Playing in a band requires some degree of compromise, you have to be willing to play what they want and vice versa to some extent.

Other than that the next big advice would be to keep posting and answering ads, you never know where theyll lead ya. 10 months ago
