Exercise: Did well!
Eating healthy: Could be better, but that treat was more than welcome and tasted soooo good.
:)
Sleep better: Ok. I was tired and took a little rest in the afternoon.
And the rest: I made a new friend and had a wonderful conversation, helped someone, had fun with the kids and a nice walk across our village’s Christmas market. All in all very uplifting! 5 months ago

A great day!
Exercise: Got a little bit during the day at home and enjoyed a nice walk with my son in the afternoon. We “skated” up the hill towards town because the path was icy and running wasn’t possible. That was fun.
Eating: Very good! Not much at all, but no sugar, no meat, no dairy (except for a little cream in my coffee) and lots of vegetables.
Sleeping: I slept great and took some rest during the day. Not too bad.
And for the rest…: I got quite a few things done and got one big item that I was procrastinating for a while out of the way. We also played a bit at home and had so much fun together, which was just nice again for a change. 5 months ago

Feeling a bit off, I took some rest and got more active again in the afternoon, which flet very good.
I wasn’t sleeping too much, but at least I am sleeping better again so that the quality makes up for quantity. 5 months ago

Are you optimistic, prophetic or looking forward to something special? ;)
But a nice restful evening sounds like a good idea.5 months ago
In the morning I was buzzing with energy and managed to get so much work done and to even enjoy every minute of it. It was actually really a lot of fun!
Having Max at home with me then, it was possible to slow down, stay calm and comfort him as much as was neccessary (he was sooooo nervous about that afternoon’s play in which he played the role of a little starfish, telling a little fallen star that he didn’t have a clue where to find the Christmas star). We even had a little nap before having a wonderful afternoon at the kindergarten’s Christmas celebration which was busy enough for the both of us.
All in all, the day was again filled with a little exercise, good and healthy food, a lot of fun and some very precious moments. A little walk outside might have been good, but maybe that’s something for the next day? 5 months ago

A busy day with a good workout at the gym, a lot of work in the afternoon and comforting talks for the children in the evening. Very rewarding but also incredibly tiring. The little piece of chocolate in the evening was a very welcome reward, just like going to sleep a lot earlier than normal for a change. 5 months ago

I didn’t quite feel like exercising this morning but since I missed my usual run yesterday morning, I simply wanted to make up for it and ran 5 km on the treadmill again. It was quite fun with four little sprints in between and I was smiling from ear to ear when I was done (not because I was done, but because it was fun!).
Maybe I’m going to repeat this sometime later this week?! 5 months ago

A wonderful day!
I slept well, was eating healthy, got a little rest and had lots to do. The only downside was that I missed my Sunday-morning run (it was still freezing outside with a lot of snow and started to rain early in the morning…).
I also talked to my parents and had a very pleasant afternoon and evening with my in-laws. 5 months ago

After sleeping for only two hours, this day could only go wrong, but I was positively surprised that it didn’t. Not at all!
I got a little bit of exercise, a lot of rest and ate quite well. It was good to have a nice chat with a mother from school and to make plans to meet again, soon – very good for my mood!
I thought about this goal a few times because it would have been so easy to be tired and moody and not do anything but feel miserable all day. Being fairly active and choosing to be cheerful instead made quite a difference.
Lesson learned: happiness really is a choice. 5 months ago

Not an ideal day:
- My daughter got sick and I had to pick her up from school
- It snowed a lot and no way to spend some time outside (not with the snotty noses and aching tummy)
- Stress concerning a little deadline
- The same old worries haunting me…
I did my best to keep my spirit up and play with the children a bit. They also played a lot and crafted something, which was very nice. Reading a bit for myself and taking the time to put a few things on paper also helped. But in the end the worries took over and kept me up for much too long. I have to do a lot better today. 5 months ago

How it was?
Exhausting! ;)
What stood out…
Losing quite some weight, starting to run and participating in a little race, my parent’s anniversary and their vacation with us, losing a few dear friends and almost losing my husband….
Well, I have learned a lot, though and am still learning a lot more about so many things.
Sill, I am sure that 2013 can only get better! 5 months ago
Well, if you carefully peel off the skin of a tangarine, you could get if off almost in one piece, like a little bowl. Taking out the fruit, you might also keep the white threads from the inside attached to the peel – it might not be possible all the time, but if it does, pour some vegetable oil into the “bowl” and light the white threads and voilĂ , a tangerine candle!
Ours burned for an hour with only a big tablespoon of oil.

It had snowed the night before and everything looked so very beautiful. The perspective changed a lot, though, once I had to step into the car… But everything worked out fine. Pheewww!
Even though I didn’t get to work out today there was a lot of physical activity in and around the house to keep me busy but I also had the time to have some coffee and enjoy an interesting talk.
We also managed to eat healthy again and had a lot of fun experimenting with our tangerine candles. :)
All in all, it was quite a good day (not counting the tears and sore throats). I’m doing my best to keep up a good attitude and count my blessings of which there are so many.
Everything is going to be alright! 5 months ago

That sounds like a stressful day. And you’re not closer to a real diagnosis yet… No wonder you’re overwhelmed right now.
Well, physiotherapy sounds like a good thing to do. Maybe going to a chiropractor would also be a good idea? At least to get some practical advice on what to do and what to avoid to get some relief.
I really hope your doctors will find something soon or that you’ll at least find a treatment that really helps you. Keep taking good care of yourself, will you? 5 months ago

This was quite a day and not only positive for a change. A real challenge for my best self to come out and take over every now and then…
Well, with a very moody 5-year old who showed off his extended vocabulary towards me a lot and a room filled with apprehensive children (about 100) for Sinterklaas, my patience was tested to the limit. In the end, I kind of gave up on my son and let him scream, shout and insult me without paying too much attention. He came back to me to apologize later (pheewwww…).
In the evening I tried to study but found it difficult to concentrate with my mind wandering and worrying again. My stomach also reacted and something had to be done. Meditating for a bit, breathing deeply and focusing on the positive helped. It was enough to sleep quietly again and to wake up more or less rested again.
Lesson learned: deepen my meditation practice and practice affirmations daily to be able to use them in difficult situations. 5 months ago

Maybe you could write her? Telling her exactly that and how you feel about her and the breakup? It might be a gentle enough way to nudge her into the right direction. 5 months ago
Hm, that does indeed sound tricky. Giving her space is probably the best idea. Letting her know that you are there for a hug when she’ll need it again… It really sounds as if there is a good chance that she might be coming back so I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you! 5 months ago
