At the beginning of the summer, I had applied for this job working as a scribe in the emergency room. I knew they wouldn’t be hiring at least until school started back, but this weekend, I got an email about setting up a skype interview. So, Monday I had my interview, and I got the official offer today. I’m especially excited because I’ll also gain experience in the emergency department which will be great for getting into medical school. I am so incredibly excited and training starts July 28th. I can’t wait! 11 months ago

Riding is one of the most intense and tiring workouts ever, but I know for me that every time I get off after a good ride, I feel so relaxed and energized. I totally understand being low on time and energy but just make yourself do it and I promise you won’t regret it. 11 months ago
How I did it: I used wordpress which has a pretty straightforward format. Since I'm just starting out, their user-friendly format has been great. This has been something I've wanted to do for a long time but never really thought I had anything to write about. Also, I was afraid that anything I did write would be too boring to be worth reading. However, I found a subject that I'm really passionate about and I posted my first entry. This has just been the first step, but I'm really excited about this project and I think that it will be a lot of fun.

If you have the time, you might want to consider taking a dance or aerobics class. The instructor will definitely give you some great suggestions for stretches that will increase your flexibility as well as challenge you to really push yourself. 11 months ago
I had a job interview yesterday with Texas Roadhouse which I was pretty stoked about. Unfortunately, I was told it would be a few weeks before I heard anything, if I heard anything. After that less than ideal news, I went to a few more places to do some more applying. At Applebee’s, I was just finishing my application when the manager walked up to me and asked if I could come in today for a formal interview. I said that I would love to and so we’ll see how that goes but I’ve got a good feeling about this one. 11 months ago

I’ve put out a lot of applications, and called to check on them. I have two restaurants to call on Monday and hopefully set up interviews with them. Things are slow around here right now, but hopefully something will come up soon. I’m not giving up yet! 11 months ago
