I ended up migrating to Gentoo. Which is a much harder install then Arch! I have come a long way 2 months ago
So I made this a while ago. I decided its time to stop wanting and do something about it! I really didn’t have the 2-3 grand(2-3 Thousand dollars) to drop on a sleeve. So I decided to buy a gun and do my own. I’ve been drawing for 13+ years anyway. So I figured why not.
I went with Invader Zim as the theme. Its been 2 weeks and I have 20% of my arm done. From my elbow down. I dropped $100 dollars so far for the kit. Ink, power supply, peddle, gun, transfer paper, etc. Best $100 I’ve ever spent!
I still need to add the Opal blue to his eyes. The bottom line to his left eye(your right). And finish the yellow back ground. 16 months ago
So, I have come a long way from when I first started! I am currently proficient in C programming, Bash, Awk, and GTK GUI programming. I am learning 32 bit Linux NASM Assembly, and python.
I’ve dabbled in Java, Ruby, Haskel, JQuery, and Django.
I’m awesome on the command line! I have wrote 2 cool programs so far.
One is a daemon that runs on boot every 60 seconds. It monitors tcp and udp ports for suspicious open ports. If a suspicious port is open it launches a UI with a scrollable textview widget with a list of open ports and process info. Also has a kill button, confirm button and a button to kill the running processes.
The other program I am still working on. It displays a password prompt when a USB device is plugged in. If password is correct, then the FS is mounted. Else, it continues to display the prompt. I am using udev rules to control the device.
So I’m learning NASM Assembly for Linux. I’m balancing C programming, GTK UI programming, AWK, Bash, NASM, and socket programming all at once. I’m coming along really good! 18 months ago
Something you had to enjoy because you need to be persistent and constantly dig in those books! If you try to learn and get board and off focus…don’t waste your time! And having an iq above average would help lol 2 years ago
I have a 200 word vovab as of now. If i can help you in anyway, please let me know! 2 years ago
Going to take the basic TCP server model in C and add a select function. Turning it into an asynchronous server from a synchronous. A basic TCP server model creates a socket, binds to a well known service/port, listens for an incoming connection, accepts an incoming connection, and closes when finished. Only one connection at a time is allowed with this basic model. But with the select function you can accept multiple connections. Let’s do this! 2 years ago
In the process of learning 32 bit NASM for Linux. Using An AMD Athlon 64 3400+ processor. I am Learning about the system bus and it’s calls on the control bus, mem read, memwrite, io read, io write, bus request, bus grant, interupt, interupt acknowledge. And all ofthe registers and their uses. 2 years ago
I am only 24 and I know that’s young! But I do realize that life is very short and goes really fast! I don’t want to live life to everyones expectations of normal and life up to societies norms! I want to be someone that was happy with the short time he was given on this earth!! 2 years ago

Thanks I certainly will keep at it that’s for sure! My life story is definitely one to be shared! 2 years ago
I am writing it at the moment. Anytime I feel sad or angry I channel that into words and write. It should only take 6 months to do. I have a lot to write about! Being a boxer, been sky diving, owning a dirt bike, having a heroin addicted mother who’s is prison for 3 years and a little bro who’s doing 8 for armed robbery and a sister with a 3 year old son and a daughter on the way while using heroin too. And me myself having been to prison for 7 years, juvenile life…. Gotta think of a name for it too! 2 years ago
How I did it: I started off with C++. And a week into learning, I switched to C. Because it was getting complicated! It wasnt fun anymore and felt like work! I do it for a hobby. I loved C so much i stuck with it. I have been programming in C for almost 2 years now. I am currently programming Linux TCP servers/clients. I am currently learning how to program a select server. And it is pretty complicated/challenging, but also extremely "FUN"!!! I think its about time to learn a second language too! I can't decide on Python or Assembly Language!
