I bought a CJ7 Jeep that I am currently working on. It had a cracked block, so I have to replace the motor completely. I am sticking with the inline 6, as it was originally. I have some sandblasting and body work to do, fix the interior, then chrome it out. Already got the new bumpers and mirrors… Then time for a paint job, still trying to decide on a color… 10 months ago

How I did it: I took a class at Missouri Western State University, as an elective. We went through 6 class sessions where we learned everything about equipment, to dive tables, to Boyle's and Charles' Laws dealing with pressure. Then we had 2 pool sessions where we practiced snorkel and scuba skills that included different swim strokes, ascending and descending, and emergency procedures. My instructor, Greg Thurmon, was very knowledgeable and experienced; which made scuba diving fun and easy. We had to pass a written test as well as swimming, snorkeling, and scuba tests - all before we could go certify in open water. Read how I did it… 22 months ago
