Well, I’m kind of failing at this goal right now… I’m procrastinating when it comes to my senior project, scholarships, and doing my homework (at times). Maybe it’s senioritis kicking in, but I know that I can do everything I’m supposed to do if I just motivate myself to work on the things that I’m supposed to work on :) 2 months ago

Well, I drove my dad’s stick shift truck a few weeks ago, and I was able to know how to drive in first gear. The car kept dying though (I think that’s what happened), so my dad doesn’t really want me driving his truck anymore. He still wants me to get my license, however, which doesn’t make too much sense since his car is the only car that I can drive at the moment. I’m going to visit my mom and sister this Thursday, so I’ll wait until then so that I can drive my mom’s car. 2 months ago

Thank you, I really appreciate that! 4 months ago

Well, the thing is that I’ve had my permit for a few years now, and I actually need to use it. I’m almost 18, and most people my age have a license. Even though I’m not taking a car with me when I go to college, it’ll be useful to have my license. Hopefully I can drive a little tomorrow, even though my Dad’s truck is a stick shift, and I’m not sure how difficult those are to get used to. 4 months ago

There’s a concert for Imagine Dragons and Atlas Genius (two of my favorite bands) in Portland in March, and I really want to go to it. It’s a week before Spring Break, so it’s slightly inconvenient, but I really want to go see them live! It could be my early birthday present :) 4 months ago

It does take time to move on from whatever has happened in your life. I’ve learned that over the past few years. I still have many things that upset me from my past (and even currently), but I just have to focus on my present and my future. 4 months ago

CaleyDecember, part two

I’m reading Paper Towns alongside Jane Eyre, so I can say that I have successfully read one book each month this year :) 5 months ago

I love classic books, even if some of them take forever to read! I’ll definitely look into The Return of the Native and find some time to read it :) 5 months ago

So, I’m re-reading Jane Eyre for my A.P. Lit. class, and I’m going to count it as another book. I do want to read something that I haven’t read before, so I may get something for Winter Break :) 5 months ago

I got my scores back a few days before Thanksgiving, and I lost about 40 points on reading, gained almost 100 points on the math section, and did about the same on the writing section. I didn’t get a 1700 like I wanted, but I’m just glad that I studied this time, and that I never have to take the SAT again! 5 months ago

CaleyNovember

I finished The Perks of Being a Wallflower about a week ago, and I finished Will Grayson, Will Grayson today. I’m not sure what I’ll read next, maybe Paper Towns or something along those lines? 6 months ago

I took the SAT again today, and I think I did better on it than I did in March. I’ll get my results in a few weeks, so I’m excited to see if I did a lot better. 6 months ago

CaleyOctober, part two

I finished The Fault in Our Stars a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely lovely. I’m now reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower :)

P.S. I realize I’m late with updating this, but I’ve been really busy! 6 months ago

I finished Frankenstein for my A.P. Lit. class… It wasn’t my favorite novel. Now, I’m reading The Fault in Our Stars. 7 months ago

I’m taking the test again in November, but it comes at a disadvantage, because I’m submitting my application to the University of Oregon before I take the SAT. Time for studying! 8 months ago

CaleyUntitled

Yes, I finished it sometime in June or so :) I did fall in love with him, he’s such a complex and beautiful character. Oskar’s definitely an adult trapped in a nine year old’s body. 8 months ago

So far this summer, I’ve missed Foreigner and Bush in concert. Curse the recession…
fun. is going to be performing in August, but I don’t think that I can make that concert, either. One day, though, I’ll be able to complete this goal! 9 months ago

CaleyJuly

I finished The Help, and it was really good. I’m actually not sure what I should read next, since I can’t buy any books for a while (no money). I’ll have to re-read something or go to the library, I guess. 9 months ago

CaleyJune (Part Two)

I finished Mockingjay in two days, and it was a great ending to The Hunger Games series. I’ve been reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and so far, it’s good :) 11 months ago

CaleyJune

I finished Catching Fire yesterday, and now I’m over halfway done with Mockingjay. I think that I’m going to cry once I finish it, considering that I heard the ending is sad, and I’ll be upset that the series is over :( 11 months ago

CaleyMay (part two)

I finished Alas, Babylon, and it was a good novel. Next is Catching Fire! 11 months ago
