chester1955Finding Joe - movie

Sometimes the Universe conspires to bring you the very thing you need at the very time you need it. Actually, it’s more like you notice that whatever it is is just what you need and you become more aware that the Universe is there supporting you.
That’s how I feel about this movie called Finding Joe. I was feeling like I should delve into mythology a little but didn’t follow up too well on it.
Then by a series of interesting events I was prevented from watching a movie I had downloaded and so moved onto watching Finding Joe.
Yup, it is just the thing I need right now.
I have a feeling that I am on the brink of something and there is a reason why this movie resonates with me.
This is definitely one of the ‘good things’ that is manifesting in my life in 2013. 3 months ago

3. An easy, lazy, relaxing day.
4. Feeling like I am finding my way through life’s turmoil. Going through and not around.
5. Receiving a movie pass in the mail, from my son and his partner, to see Lincoln. Sharing and caring. 3 months ago

chester1955Snow

Yes, I’m in Brisbane on the east coast of Australia. And we had more rain last night… rain ok, but the frogs kept me awake all night LOL

I have rellies in Canada in a place called Okotoks, miles from Ottawa. Apparently they get snow there big time.

Also have a friend in Vancouver. Ahhh, one day… when I win the lottery…

Take care in the snow.

chester1955Building an ark

Hi Lemon Zest,
Damp would be one thing, but the influence of a tropical cyclone made going outside a bit of a challenge LOL
I put out buckets to catch rainwater for the indoor plants. 5 litres in 24 hours. The city is flooding in parts, some 3,000 homes at last count.
The emergency services told us to stay indoors. I have been lucky, no flooding and only some small branches from the 30’ gum tree on the neighbours property.
Definitely safer to stay indoors, but you get cabin fever you know? Actually I was one of the lucky ones, I still had power even though most of the streets in our area were out.
I notice you are in Canada. Got snow?
Cheers

chester1955Create

What you think about…you bring about. This is the law of attraction.
We are all creators. I am an ‘intentional creator’. By this I mean I bring things and events into my life by intention. I dream (or visualise) and the universe corresponds to the vibration of my song.
I have been wanting to put a list like this on 43Things for the past week, but could not think of what to call it.

Thank you h.g. for giving it a name. Joyful creators together.

chester1955Law of attraction

Hi there hg,
I agree, it’s interesting that there is so much evidence regarding the law of attraction, however it is when you reflect on your own life and realise that you have actually created many things and they have manifested in your life that I get blown away.
I find living with an ‘attitude of gratitude’ is the biggest positive in my creating and being here on 43Things is a great way to focus on all the good there is in my life.
Have fun creating!

Cheers

chester1955Amazing Remedial Massage

OMG! I was in agony yesterday and booked a remedial massage with my usual place in the local shopping centre.
The girl that did the massage was amazing. All I can say is for someone so petite she had magic hands and sure knew how to pound out those knots in my back muscles.
I walked out of there feeling like I was on cloud 9. I am so glad to have found a good masseuse. Will definitely be booking with her again.
Ohhhh heaven, bliss and relief from my back pain.
Thank you thank you thank you. 4 months ago

chester1955Cutlery/Gadget drawer - done!

Finally!! The cutlery/gadget drawer has been a mess for ages. I knew I was in trouble when I shut the drawer one day and something moved. Whatever it was it meant that I wasn’t able to get the drawer open again. I had to use a large knife and a lot of jiggling to re-settle the offending ‘whatever’ before the drawer obliged by opening again.
So, yesterday I emptied the contents and had a good sort through. How many knives does a cook need? I found two and three of some gadgets which I have never really used. Had a good sort out.
R has started to develop an interest in cooking so I will offer those bits and pieces I don’t need to her.
It feels really good to open the drawer and see it all organised. 4 months ago
