How I did it: I found out where my nearest car boot sale was using this website: http://www.carbootjunction.co.uk/index.php
I asked around and some friends had been to it, and reckoned it was a good one.

Sooooo anyway...  we got up at 5.15 on Sunday morning (ugghhhh!  I didn't know there was such a time!) to get there for the 6.30 opening time.  We got a good pitch and sold a lot of stuff, especially records (vinyl), CDs, wool.  Also sold an exercise bike, various odds and ends (unwanted presents etc). 

We had typical British weather - four seasons in one HOUR, and then some :( so were grateful that we wrapped up in lots of layers.  There was good banter with the buyers and other sellers, but we were glad to leave at 11am, when the weather turned really nasty, and we'd sold most of our stuff. I was watching the BBC news channel and they showed a lot of the march (the best part of an hour), those performing, the speakers – it was incredibly moving. I think the world is in awe of the dignity of the Norwegian people.

I couldn’t believe how many people were there – I know that part of Oslo and ther were people everywhere! It really moved me to tears.

After watching it I went and picked the prettiest rose in the garden, so I could share the moment – picture of it for you. C xxxxxx 22 months ago
