How I did it: I found out where my nearest car boot sale was using this website: http://www.carbootjunction.co.uk/index.php
I asked around and some friends had been to it, and reckoned it was a good one.
Sooooo anyway... we got up at 5.15 on Sunday morning (ugghhhh! I didn't know there was such a time!) to get there for the 6.30 opening time. We got a good pitch and sold a lot of stuff, especially records (vinyl), CDs, wool. Also sold an exercise bike, various odds and ends (unwanted presents etc).
We had typical British weather - four seasons in one HOUR, and then some :( so were grateful that we wrapped up in lots of layers. There was good banter with the buyers and other sellers, but we were glad to leave at 11am, when the weather turned really nasty, and we'd sold most of our stuff. Read how I did it… 3 years ago
