I joined a knitting group to force myself to set aside time to knit. Once a week I meet up with the group for two to three hours. I’ve started making a headband style ear-warmer for the winter. It’s also great to see knitters for every level and have them share their stories. It is encouraging to hear the other knitters talk about their early experiences. It reminds me that even the most skilled knitters had to start somewhere. 6 months ago

I have been with my partner for over ten years. When we first started dating, I thought it would be me and him against the world. In the spirit of compromise, I put my hobbies on the back-burner; until I was no longer doing things that once gave me joy.
It took me a long time to figure out, it is a lot to ask one person to make you happy all the time. There is nothing wrong with having multiple outlets for your interests. 7 months ago

Today is day one of a fourteen day fast. I’ve mentally prepared myself for this by looking toward to the end results: being closer to my goal, finally being able to wear clothes with the tags still on them and all around feeling better. I hope to lose at least ten pounds on the fast.

I’m going to embark on a fourteen day juice fast starting this Sunday. Since my last fast, I have been able to keep the weight off with simple diet and exercise, but have unable to lose any additional weight. 20 months ago

Today is the culmination of a ten day juice fast. It was easier than I thought, though there were some rough patches. I’m seven pounds lighter and I feel great. I want to incorporate juicing into my regular diet. I was thinking either 1) juice for breakfast every morning. 2) Juice one day a week. 23 months ago

About to start a ten day juice fast. I’ve tried all other conventional methods of weight lost and have lost four pounds in two years. I’ve weighted and measured my meals, counted calories; I’ve given up soda, gluten, dairy, sugar and eggs. My exercise regimens have ranged from pilates, circuit training, yoga, weights, walking, and cardio. I feel I need to restart my body. 23 months ago

I dress up for myself. When I only dressed up for special occasions, it was too much pressure and very daunting. I would over do it.
It does not matter if your wearing a thousand dollars in clothing and jewelry; if you are not confident it will show.

How I did it: I had come back from vacation and when I started to go through the photos I had taken, I don't like the way I looked. I looked frumpy. I wanted to do something about, but I was not confident in what to purchase.
