did laundry, and super-tidied & sorted today. :) 16 months ago
Saw K, and didn’t feel the need to make a big night of it. Healthier and a few dollars richer as a result, and left the gang while I was still having fun. :) 16 months ago

- a really fun dinner with some good people I haven’t seen in a long time
- a tidier room in which it’s now easier to focus
- clean clothes that I didn’t have to go anywhere to wash. Love this in-unit machine
- two wonderful groups to return to tomorrow
- only two more days to go through med-free. So grateful. So cautiously optimistic.
- have been getting lots of sleep lately. hurrah. 16 months ago
Not feeling so great today (soy!!!) so I really need the motivation:
- did laundry (lots), folded & put it away, too
- did a little cooking (have lunch tomorrow)
- cleaned up my room
- sorted toiletries
- washed dishes
- planned my clothes for the week

- a truly wonderful group in the morning, rich & diverse in perspective and life experience, but to whom I can relate quite easily + a lesson that seemed very meaningful to them today
- a fun & lively afternoon group, who I’m growing very fond of
- the fact that I’m learning (very slowly but surely) to finally manage my big group
- best class ever with the big group today
- that I was able to set meaningful goals with my private student today 16 months ago
even when my automatic thought is that I’ve done nothing. This is because
a) it’ll help me realize I have actually accomplished a bit, no matter how little
b) it’ll be that much easier to motivate myself for what I still would like to get done
This means I have to keep listing what I’ve “done” and, at times, try and turn (what feels like) “nothing” into “something” 16 months ago
I’ve been keeping all my dirty clothes in one spot, for once. and sort of making the bed. 16 months ago
(well, sort of)
- I got a 5-visit pass for one gym rather than a membership, because I’d like to try out one or two other places before I completely commit to anywhere. But I’ll count it as 50% “done,” and 100% done once I decide which of the 2 or 3 places I’d like to to commit to. 16 months ago
Made a new challenge for myself: I can only buy one “alone” coffees per week (Sunday-Saturday), not including scheduled get-togethers and private lessons. Also only buy alcohol ‘out’ once a week at most.
Last week, this was on Friday. This week, unfortunately, this happened already with my killing-time coffee before the shop opened yesterday, but it was quite lovely since I got some good reading in at the same time.
If I don’t feel like going home to do whatever sedate activity I could probabaly do just as well there as in a coffee shop, it’s probably because I’m dreading the mess and should clean it up! 16 months ago
