when the urges come, they bring thoughts with them. don’t let them take root, and turn from them immediately, and toward whatever ‘higher power’ you can thank for keeping you free. keep doing this each time. it may not work for you, but i say try anything that may help.

these two things are yours. personage isn’t “self-loathing”, but your qualities.
will is your arms, legs, mind, and heart. you can work both, although you may have the limitations of being slower and having more difficulty accomplishing something.
if you forgive yourself, and give to yourself, depression is only the luggage that comes along, that hopefully you drop along the way. 11 months ago

your post, draco, made me think of how prevalent drinking is (along with its temptation and peer pressure) in every place and situation around the world. if i step outside of the world’s perspective, i can see that i don’t want to be a part of that system. so the members of that system are a part of it, and must abide by its rules. i’ll just tell them i don’t want any part of it, and if they ask why, i’ll tell them i don’t want to be fooled into a hangover or a lost day because of it. if they keep pressing, i’ll get mad and tell them that drinking is a hoax. they don’t want to hear the explanation of that, cause it involves them being a puppet. 11 months ago

please don’t let unforgiveness stay in your mind and heart, since it ultimately hurts only you. if you have standards you place on people, they’re bound to let you down. i think you do have it right that you’re responsible for your own well being. then perhaps it’ll be easier to let people in. 11 months ago

it’s hard completing duties when your insides are crumbling. it sounds like you’ll have to come up with plans to cope for when it may occur again. then you’ll be more prepared.
the inner dialogue probably isn’t true at all, just the negative things your mind tries to rationalize, for the frustration of not being able to solve the problem immediately… a defense. if you consciously take control, you can have a more true perspective.
what i’d do, is sometime sit and go through that situation mentally, and as it appears to you, change it to be as you want, actually hypnotizing yourself to feel the emotions that result from a true perspective’s outcome. i believe it will program you for a better feeling later. 12 months ago

oh, i didn’t mean writing it isn’t the best way to learn, but that, like me, people just read about the way to write them, then say,
‘that’s nice’, then write what they usually write. i’ve learned that poetry is really hard to write well. 12 months ago
after writing poetry, then going back to prose, it was like the karate kid – the skills from poetry suddenly improved my writing. what a challenge to learn poetry form by trying to write them! 12 months ago

was your back hurting cause of your kidneys? i’d try to alkalinize myself, and take epsom salt (only 1/8 tsp increments). maybe it would get the kidneys in better shape. the water definitely helps them. if you have dandelions, you can cut and boil the roots, then drink (make darn sure they’re dandelions).
to make your body more alkaline, don’t eat acidic foods, and look up ways to make your system more alkaline. 12 months ago
