“Why Men Love Bitches” by Sherry Argov 2 days ago
How I did it: My friend moved out to Arizona after her divorce. She was very distant during the time she was having relationship issues but I didn't take it personally and I tried to be there for her in any way I could. I was proud of her for having the courage to start over in a new place. I kept in touch with her through texts and cards and decided to take a trip out to visit her. Read how I did it… 3 months ago
How I did it: I worked in critical care for over eight years. Got certified in critical care and built up my resume with good clinical experience, committee participation, volunteer work, etc. Obtained recommendations from supervisors, wrote a personal essay, and filled out applications. Sent them in and prayed for an interview. A few schools interviewed me. I prepared for the interviews and gave them my all. Read how I did it… 3 months ago
How I did it: I made time to read and I carried my books with me so if I was waiting in a doctor's office or riding the train, etc. I would pass the time by reading. My original plan was to read one book a month, but some months were busier than others and I didn't always finish on time, but in the end, I managed to read 12 books! (Which is a lot for me!) How I did it: I searched the web and found a cheap direct flight from NY to Honolulu on Hawaiian Airlines. I convinced my mom to go with me, which didn't really take too much convincing. We stayed at a hotel within walking distance from Waikiki Beach. We had an absolutely amazing time just lounging on the beach everyday and walking over to Duke's for Mahi Mahi Burgers and Mango Margaritas at dinner time! I even fulfilled my dream of surfing in Hawaii! It was one of my best trips ever!!! Read how I did it… 6 months ago
This book was recommended to me a long time ago. I wish I’d read it when I was in high school and I might be in a better financial situation now. The author makes a lot of good points and stresses the importance of being financially educated. It made me realize what I’m doing wrong and what it truly means to be part of the rat race. 11 months ago
How I did it: My mom always complains that we've never taken a mother-daughter vacation together. So, we planned a trip to Palm Springs, CA for a week of rest and relaxation. We stayed at a beautiful resort and spent the week in the warm sun on lounge chairs by the pool. We also did a little hiking, bike riding, and sightseeing. Read how I did it… 12 months ago

I was accepted into a masters program and I’m actually considering declining my acceptance. The decision is torturing me. I’m very afraid of making the wrong decision. I just started a new job and I don’t think that I can stand to add another stressor to my life right now. I’m also not so sure that I’m passionate about what I’d be studying for the next 3 to 4 years. Maybe the timing is just not right. 12 months ago
