Watched 2011’s “Atlantis: End of a World Birth of a Legend”
It tells the story of the greatest natural disaster of the ancient world, an event that experts believe inspired the legend of Atlantis. Half documentary style, and half a fictional reenactment of a young couple of the time. Surprisingly well done and enjoyable. 20 minutes ago

So, I’ve spent time on and off this week with finding new ways to combat spammers on my blog.
It’s become much more of an uphill battle in the past few years, as spammers continue to increase their attacks.
I’ve had to turn off comments on my blog as the risks are simply not worth the return at this point.
I’ve added several new widgets and plugins to help with the effort and so far they are really proving to be helpful. I’ve been banning IP addresses left, right and center – especially those coming from China, Russia, Turkey, Romania, Ukraine, Taiwan and a few more. Those tend to be nothing but spammers and my blog is not intended for that geographic area anyway.
I’ve also turned off trackbacks and pings and have noticed an improvement.
So the battle continues!! 2 weeks ago

So today, May 31st, I’m starting off on a new goal of giving out 14,000 cheers to fellow 43T members.
It will be interesting to see how fast this goal is done, compared to my last level, which was reached in record time! 2 weeks ago

How I did it: Did the usual; helping to keep spammers off 43T earns me cheers, which I then use to cheer-bomb fellow members.
It went particularly quick this time around; so I'm off to the next level of 14,000 cheers to give away!

How I did it: Had some concerns regarding my previous order with them, so I had to make a detailed list of all the concerns, along with photographs for support/proof.
I haven't been feeling well due to my bronchitis, so my brain is a little slower to process things. So it took a lot longer than I expected, because I kept going over it all to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything that I wanted to mention to them.
Still haven't gotten my reply back from them, but at least I've got my side of the issue presented.

I have an old back injury as well, so for back and joint pain; I use a medication called “Robaxacet” (Methocarbamol + Acetaminophen). It’s an over-the-counter here in Canada, but I understand it’s prescription only in the States.
Over the years, I’ve tried many different meds, but Robax is the only one that really targets that sort of pain.
For migraines, I make my own little med-cocktail of Tylenol, Ibuprophen and caffeine. The caffeine helps to constrict the blood vessels and is also known to be able to boost the speed and efficiency of certain medications, such as Tylenol, by up to 40%. Which means that I can generally take less meds, less often and have it take effect faster – which is a win-win in my book. 3 weeks ago
That strange pain only lasted off and on for about a week. As it matched almost exactly my best friend’s timings for her strange pains – we came to the conclusion that it was weather-based.
We’ve discovered over the years that we are both much more weather-sensitive than most people. It was from her that I discovered what migraine pains were like and was better able to handle it when they started happening to me as I got older.
That’s why she’s one of the first that I check with when something like this happens – makes me know that I’m not the only one experiencing it. Nowadays, I sometimes will also put out a general query to local friends over Facebook to see if anyone else is feeling weird stuff. It makes it a lot easier to see overall patterns like that and realize that it does indeed happen.
I’m not quite looking forward to the coming week though – we have a lot of rain scheduled for the next 5 days or so. That tends to wreak havoc with my arthritic joints and sometimes also causes migraines. I do what I can in terms of preventative stuff, but it still gets frustrating at times because I’m not able to be as productive as usual. 3 weeks ago

How I did it: I used Apple's Time Machine software and my own external 2TB hard drive. It automatically does the work as soon as I connect it.It was quick and easy and now I feel like my data is much more secure.
