I am studying BEC now, is there anyone who can tell me which chapter should I focus on most?

Dear all,
I am taking REG on 11/29. I should be able to finish Wiley corporation today and move on to partnership earlier evening. My goal is finish the rest of business law sections on Becker & Wiley homework before 11/15, by this schedule, it will give me two weeks to do final review.
I didn’t purchase final review from Becker, the following is the lists that I want to follow for my two weeks final review:
1. Work on Becker/Wiley homework again
2. Work on past of 5 years AICPA release questions
3. Work on cpareviewforfree questions.

I feel like I am running out of time, by review these, I am hoping I can pass it this time, I got 70 last time, and I want to get passing grade. 6 months ago

Thank you for your reminder. I totally agreed with you now. I have done reg exam couple times already and always ended up around 70 or 71.
I got average score for my MCQ, some of them were even stronger, but, still, 71.
This time, I will not only focus on MCQ but also will pay more attention on simulation practices. Even though I just paid $35 to reschedule my BEC but it’s better than paying more for that part later.

At the end, I decided to reschedule my BEC exam to 2/28. Even though I study full time now, at the end, taking two parts in Nov is really a stupid thing to do.
I am not a smart one so I need to be very honest to myself – one subject at a time.
Now, I need to fully focus on REG since I ended up at 70 last time, I have been reading others postings and realized no matter how great I do on MCQ, if I don’t do well on simulation, I still will end like 70 over and over.
I still have time for REG because I know I still remember 80% of materials.
I need to bring ONE good news this year… oh god, just give me ONE good news this year. 6 months ago

I am still in chapter 2 forcasting and projection (becker.
when I was studying textbook, I thought I understand it, BUT, when I am working on becker homework, I feel like…. lost.
So, I only can study from homework and hopefully I can learn and memorize formula/concepts.

I found out BEC chapter 1.3 Operations Management Cost Measurement Methods and Techniques give me lots of hard time. Am I the only person struggling here? Or someone on this board feel the same way like me.
I suppose to finish becker 1.3 homework yesterday, but, I really feel like it’s getting harder and harder to move on next question. So, I decided to move on to chapter 2 then back to chapter 1 again.
Am I doing the right path??

Alright, next month will be my “N” times to take reg. After last time, I realized what the issue was for not making me get passing grade. (Ouch! what an expensive lesson)
At least, I know my grade will start from 70, it will take lots of hard work to get the rest of 5 points!

I would move on to my next subject which is BEC on Monday. I don’t want to waste of my time wating for result. I think the worst one is… try to re-take reg again soon.

My experiences about reg exam today… I don’t know… it seems okay, but, I know I miss the research question.
Well, there’s nothing I can do about it, what’s done is done, take a break then back to study BEC next week.

After 4.5 days I will take regulation exam, right now, I am maining focus on Wiley CPA online questions (since I truely believe I’ve already memorize most of questions/answers from Becker)
I will continue to work on the rest of 20 simulation questions tonight, and crazy practice business law parts tomorrow.
My goal: taking final exams on Wiley & Becker on Thursday.

One week from today will be my big day. Right now, I keep working on Wiley online questions and hopefully I can memorize as much as I could.
Before my exam night, I will go to sleep earlier than before, and drink double shot starbucks coffee on the way to testing center.
Take a deep breath, walk around the house if you feel tired then back to do homework again.

Rockford Corp, a calendar-year taxpayer, purchased used furniture and fixtures for use in its business and placed the property in service on December 1, 2011. The furniture and fixtures cost $112,000 and represened Rockford’s only acquisition of depreciable property during the year. Rockford did not make any special elections with regard to depreciation and did not elect to expense any part of the cost of the property under sec. 170. What is the amount of Rockford corp.’s depreciation deduction for the furniture and fixtures under MACRS for 2011?
The answer is 4,000

I believe I use the right website, I was working up to 4 or 5 questions then I have to pay in order to move on to next question.
Try regulation part and income questions, they total have 36 questions.

Yeah, I am pretty sure they are not free anymore. I was working on multiple choice till question 4, then they ask me to pay in order to move on next question.

anyways, I just finished 36 questions and I got 21 out of 36, 58.33%. Not good at all!
I need to review notes from another71.com, tomorrow morning, I have to call Wiley to find out how to log in to online test bank.

After finished 2011 Becker for R1, I just decided to purchase 2012 online Wiley test bank. I have 2011 book, but, I need some update information.
I got an order confirmation, I think they are going to mail the book to me, but, I was thinking about I might get online access code so I can start to practice online.
Did I do it wrong?? Can anyone please guide me how to use wiley online test bank?
Tonight, I’ll continue to work 2011 Wiley book and cpareviewforfree.com to practice more about R1.
I feel like I am getting blind….

50% correct was a good start – that’s what I think, at least, you still got some important concept in your mind.

Yes, I am behind a little bit on my study schedule.
10:12 a.m. in California, I just finished Becker x choice questions, my overall score for that is 85.2%, I know I have to keep rework/restudy entire R1.
Now I am going to move on to R1 simulations then work on my supplemental questions, I have to practice as many as possible on R1 before I official move on to R2 tomorrow.
Yesterday, I had an interview, I wasn’t expect that interview goes that long and other stuff suddenly came up, etc.
but, anyways, I reshcedule it to the first Friday of July, which means I get few more days before I sit on exam.
and
YES, YES, YES, I can finish all the R1 questions today.

Thank you for your input.
I believe God has plan for each of us, for the past of years I tried to pass one part and I always ended up as failing score. However, what an amazing part was I increase my score each time when I take exam. I know God hasn’t give up on me yet, we just need a right time to get it done.
After my regulation exam, I will go for a part time job, I believe God wants me to sacrifice first so I can cherish succeed in the future.

Yes, I am going to use Becker & Wiley as supplemental material. I think 3 days for final review should be enough to me. The first time I took regulation, my weak area was business laws, after study for few months, my weak area becomes tax transactions. This time I will focus on every single questions, and answers, and hopefully I can increase 6 more points to 75.
I have 2011 edition, I remember I have seen somewhere in Becker’s website says 2011 regulation has no big difference compare with 2012 edition. However, I still will go on Becker website to find the new update.

and YES, YES, YES, with our next try, we both will get that 75 for regulation!
