How I did it: My coworker invited me to join her relay for life team. My daughter also wanted to participate, so we both joined. We were both required to raise $100, so we did that, mostly through family and facebook friends. Yesterday was a nice day for it, although it was rainy and threatened to thunder. We did not spend the night, because it was very wet and we do not have a tent. Next year I will try to either buy or borrow a tent. I might even attempt to form my own team.
