... to something like “do something good for someone”.
Yesterday I donated a little bitof money through paypal to someone who I know really needs it. I know $15 isn’t much, but it could make a difference when all you have left to eat is a tangerine, no? 16 months ago

Been slacking…

I’m putting a (very) small amount of money away each month. Hoping to be able to restrict myself to a weekly budget and pull the amount of savings up to 10% of my income over the course of a couple of months.
Please give me tips and advice! I’m horrible with money! 16 months ago

As long as both your expectations are realistic, I don’t see a problem. Not everything needs to be defined or boxed in.
Just make sure nobody gets hurt/expects more than he/she can get… 16 months ago
I find I’m sometimes doing things because I’m “supposed to” instead of when I want/need to and that gives me stress. Listening to my body’s signals as much as possible might make me a little happier :)
Eat when hungry, not because it’s time to eat. Sleep when I’m tired, even if it’s only 9 o’clock. Move when I’ve been sitting down too long,...
Practice mindfulness with my own body, so to speak. 16 months ago

I find having a nail file handy VERY useful as well :)
And yup… I can relate to the cuticle-trauma.
I may try to paint my nails as well sometime soon. excited16 months ago
Sounds like you’re doing pretty good as well though. Congrats!
Do you have a special trick? I never had falsies or used the bitter-tasting stuff or anything. What would make it easier? 16 months ago
not too bad on this one. I already have 7 nice nails. Just can’t seem to stop focusing on my thumbs :S
I might have to eward myself with my very first manicure when I manage to stay off my thumbs as well… 16 months ago

thinking about doing the exact same course. I’m still not sure if I should or not. Thank you for posting your experience!
Usually I watch a movie on the laptop while soaking in the tub (no, the laptop will NOT fall into the tub, and yes, it IS splatter-free – I make sure of that)
But tonight: just candles, some soft music and foam :) It was sooo relaxing! Definately worth it! 17 months ago

I’m a little scared of things going into veins, that’s all :P 17 months ago
Respect you for donating blood. I’d do it if it didn’t squick me out (to quote a lame movie: “it’s blood, it’s supposed to stay INSIDE the body!”)
Even though I’m into body modification, a hollow needle in my vein that lets my warm blood flow out of my body scares me. 17 months ago
I just inherited my sisters Wii Fit, with yoga dvd. Maybe I should change my goal to “do yoga at least three times a week with the Wii” :P 17 months ago

You look good in dresses!
I can recommend the book “The Style statement” by Carrie McCarthy and Danielle LaPorte for finding your own style. Good luck! 17 months ago

Actually, I was thinking. I’ve been paying off 130€ every month the past 6 months anyway, so why not put away half the amount from now on and save up a little?
I hope I can do it!
hellbaby
completed this goal
How I did it: I paid around 130€ every month, and I waited for my christmas bonus from work to pay the remaining amount.
(I'd rather use the money to go shopping, but i guess this will give me more peace of mind in the long run.) Read how I did it… 17 months ago

A friend gave it to me because he liked it. I knew the title, but not what it was about… Read it all in one go (absolutely a good writer!), but yes, a very sad story :( 17 months ago
This siteis still very difficult to navigate for me :S And I have no idea how I’ll be able to read your response… 18 months ago
