Read a book about this, which helped a lot. I’ve now been doing at least a couple of minutes of strenuous exercise every day for a month now, with only one day missed when I was sick. 13 months ago
I got a raise. Sure, it’s an across the board one, and it’s not that much, but every bit helps, right? 13 months ago
I put the new CDs I got into my gigantic CD wallet alphabetically. I’ve been putting that off for months. 13 months ago
I’ve successfully incorporated stair stepping at work on my lunch break, a bit at a time. I’m up to six repetitions for 22 steps, and I’ll keep upping it as it gets too easy. Not as good as in my gym days, but it’s a start. 13 months ago
I’ve been a bit better about this lately. I now have a more or less standing date with a friend on weekends, and last Saturday I went to a swap meet, which was a lot of fun. 13 months ago
I got a new cat tree, replacing the old one that had to go to the curb a couple of months ago. That one was too tall and swayed alarmingly every time my elderly beasts ran up. This new one is only about 4 feet tall and the base is much wider. They are in heaven.
Also replaced the hallway runner which was also a casualty of cat pee from when my girlcat had that terrible months long UTI and didn’t quite make it one to the box one day. Also during that same IKEA trip, I bought another set of closet organizers, complete with drawers-so much prettier and neater than the current one which is ripped and sagging. It regularly spills my socks out on the floor. I will hang it and transfer stuff over when I get a free moment this month.
Next on the list, some decent winter sweaters. Almost every cardigan I own has either shrunk or sprouted holes, all within an 8 week period. This leaves me with a single winter weight one left-not good. A midweight fall coat is needed, too. The one I had was too threadbare to stretch another year. 17 months ago
I just remembered that it’s been ages since I looked at my rewards points for my higher balance card. Turns out I had enough points for a $50 cash rebate. Off it goes, to help pay off the card! 17 months ago

Now that it’s October, the seeds I planted in April are coming up like mad.
I think they are confused.
With any luck, some will grow enough to do something interesting before it gets too cold. 19 months ago
