OK…step one. Find 3 other people crazy enough to give this a go! Put the word out there and got a team so much easier than I thought. And Im really looking forward to it as we are an interesting bunch. Its an all girl team and we will represent Australia, Japan, Estonia and Romania in the German Oxfam trailwalker. So if you want to see integration and multiculturalism in action….we’re your team :) 17 months ago

How I did it: I looked online for an easy womens weekly gingerbread reciepe. Then went to the shops, bought everything i needed. Then when the house was free of flatmates I set to work building my sugary masterpiece. It may not be perfect but it sure tastes good! Read how I did it… 18 months ago

How I did it: I took a new job and made it clear that there was to be a clear boundary between my personal life and my work life. By doiing this from the start I also made a commitment that I would do my work to the best of my ability in the designated time. Also I set boundaries about what I am capable of doing. If it was too much instead of taking on everything I would either decline the work, delegate or renegotiate time lines. Read how I did it… 18 months ago

How I did it: When I set this goal I had never thought that I would be moving to Germany with my work. But now I am here I still have no need to learn the language, I can get away with English both at work and socially. However when you live somewhere it makes life alot easier to know the local language. So I went and enrolled in a language course and now on completetion I can handle basic german converstations and conduct my daily life with some level of competence (I no longer feel like an iilliterate mute). But the key is not to take yourself too seriously, dont be afraid of making mistakes and just go out there and try it. Read how I did it… 18 months ago

What a lovely book – I would recommend anyone to read this book. I enjoyed every page of it and the story kept me engaged throughout the whole book. 2 years ago

How I did it: I invited some friends around for dinner, got a recipe and had a stab at it! Although I was a little stressed about it (and had the domino's number on hand just in case!) I figured as long as I followed the instructions I would be ok! Read how I did it… 2 years ago

Oh wow – Mills and Boon step aside! This book is raunchy – in a 1920’s kind of way. But like the sign of all good books, the issues are still relevant today and make you think. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and its inspired me to wipe the dust off sons and lovers and re-read another DH Lawrence classic. 2 years ago
