How I did it:
I quit over a year and a half ago! (I quit February 13, 2010) I had smoked for nearly 8 years since I was 18. There were some month long periods where I was forced to quit because I kept getting bronchitis and almost pneumonia. So, I mostly quit for health reasons. Also, it just got too damn expensive, and I just hated how dependent I was on them.
I stopped cold turkey. I just stopped buying packs. It was hard at first, especially while driving and at work. But, I grew to forget the need for them.
I managed to do it, and I know you can too! Don't give up! Read how I did it… 4 years ago
So, I bought this speed reading training program, 7 Speed Reading, and I just did my first lesson today. Just doing this lesson today gave me a lot of hope. According to this software, I could triple my reading speed in a matter of a couple weeks. My initial reading speed is 200 words per minute, so, hopefully, with daily practice, two weeks from now I oughta be reading at 600 words a minute. That would really trip me out… 3 years ago
