54. Killer Queen – Queen
(I know it is about a prostitute…but I still love the song)
She keeps Moet et Chandon
In a pretty cabinet
‘Let them eat cake’ she says
Just like Marie Antoinette
A built-in remedy
For Khrushchev and Kennedy
At anytime an invitation
You can’t decline
Caviar and cigarettes
Well versed in etiquette
Extraordinarily nice
She’s a Killer Queen
Gunpowder, Gelatine
Dynamite with a laser beam
Guaranteed to blow your mind
Anytime
Recommended at the price
Insatiable an appetite
Wanna try?
To avoid complications
She never kept the same address
In conversation
She spoke just like a baroness
Met a man from China
Went down to Geisha Minah
Then again incidentally
If you’re that way inclined
Perfume came naturally from Paris
for cars she couldn’t care less
Fastidious and precise
Drop of a hat she’s as willing as
Playful as a pussy cat
Then momentarily out of action
Temporarily out of gas
To absolutely drive you wild, wild
She’s out to get you

Insatiable in appetite
Wanna try?

53. Blinded by the light – Manfred Mann’s Earth Band
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Madman drummers bummers,
Indians in the summer with a teenage diplomat
In the dumps with the mumps as the adolescent pumps his way into his hat
With a boulder on my shoulder, feelin’ kinda older,
I tripped the merry-go-round
With this very unpleasin’, sneezin’ and wheezin,
the calliope crashed to the ground
The calliope crashed to the ground
But she was…
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
runner in the night
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Some silicone sister with a manager mister told me I go what it takes
She said “I’ll turn you on sonny to something strong,
play the song with the funky break”
And go-cart Mozart was checkin’ out the weather chart to see if it was safe outside
And little Early-Pearly came by in his curly-wurly and asked me if I needed a ride
Asked me if I needed a ride
But she was…
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Blinded by the light
She got down but she never got tired
She’s gonna make it through the night
She’s gonna make it through the night
But mama, that’s where the fun is
But mama, that’s where the fun is
Mama always told me not to look into the eye’s of the sun
But mama, that’s where the fun is
Some brimstone baritone anticyclone rolling stone preacher from the east
Says, “Dethrone the dictaphone, hit it in it’s funny bone,
that’s where they expect it least”
And some new-mown chaperone was standin’ in the corner,
watching the young girls dance
And some fresh-sown moonstone was messin’ with his frozen zone, reminding him of romance
The calliope crashed to the ground
But she was…
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,

Now Scott with a slingshot finially found a tender spot and throws his lover in the sand
And some bloodshot forget-me-not said daddy’s within earshot save the buckshot, turn up the band

Birds flying high you know how I feel
Sun in the sky you know how I feel
Breeze driftin’ on by you know how I feel
It’s a new dawn
It’s a new day
It’s a new life
For me
And I’m feeling good
Fish in the sea you know how I feel
River running free you know how I feel
Blossom on the tree you know how I feel
Dragonfly out in the sun you know what I mean, don’t you know
Butterflies all havin’ fun you know what I mean
Sleep in peace when day is done
That’s what I mean
And this old world is a new world
And a bold world
For me
Stars when you shine you know how I feel
Scent of the pine you know how I feel
Oh freedom is mine
And I know how I feel 3 months ago
Yep….I’m a 45 yr old mom….my kids find it funny I like this song…but I do like to sing along :)
I tried to cut out the bad words…..lol
“Thrift Shop”
(feat. Wanz)
Hey, Macklemore! Can we go thrift shopping?
What, what, what, what…
I’m gonna pop some tags
Only got twenty dollars in my pocket
I – I – I’m hunting, looking for a come-up
This is …... awesome
Now, walk into the club like, “What up, I got a big —!”
I’m so pumped about some stuff from the thrift shop
Ice on the fringe, it’s so damn frosty
That people like, “Damn! That’s a cold….....”
Rollin’ in, hella deep, headin’ to the mezzanine,
Dressed in all pink, ‘cept my gator shoes, those are green
Draped in a leopard mink, girls standin’ next to me
Probably shoulda washed this, smells like R. Kelly’s sheets
But, it was ninety-nine cents! (Bag it)
Coppin’ it, washin’ it, ‘bout to go and get some compliments
Passin’ up on those moccasins someone else’s been walkin’ in
Bummy and grungy,
I am stuntin’ and flossin’ and
Savin’ my money and I’m hella happy that’s a bargain,
I’ma take your grandpa’s style, I’ma take your grandpa’s style,
No for real – ask your grandpa – can I have his hand-me-downs? (Thank you)
Velour jumpsuit and some house slippers
Dookie brown leather jacket that I found diggin’
They had a broken keyboard, I bought a broken keyboard
I bought a skeet blanket, then I bought a kneeboard
Hello, hello, my ace man, my Miller
John Wayne ain’t got nothing on my fringe game, hell no
I could take some Pro Wings, make them cool, sell those
The sneaker heads would be like “Aw, he got the Velcros”
What you know about rockin’ a wolf on your noggin?
What you knowin’ about wearin’ a fur fox skin?
I’m digging, I’m digging, I’m searching right through that luggage
One man’s trash, that’s another man’s come-up
Thank your granddad for donating that plaid button-up shirt
‘Cause right now I’m up in her skirt
I’m at the Goodwill, you can find me in the (Uptons)
I’m that, I’m that sucker searchin’ in that section (Uptons)
Your grammy, your aunty, your momma, your mammy
I’ll take those flannel zebra jammies, second-hand, I rock that
The built-in onesie with the socks on that
I hit the party and they stop in that
They be like, “Oh, that Gucci – that’s hella tight.”
I’m like, “Yo – that’s fifty dollars for a T-shirt.”
Limited edition, let’s do some simple addition
Fifty dollars for a T-shirt – that’s just some ignorant
I call that getting swindled and pimped
I call that getting tricked by a business
That shirt’s hella dough
And having the same one as six other people in this club is a hella don’t
Peep game, come take a look through my telescope
Trying to get girls from a brand? Then you hella won’t
Then you hella won’t
(Goodwill… poppin’ tags… yeah!)
I wear your granddad’s clothes
I look incredible
I’m in this big coat
From that thrift shop down the road
Is that your grandma’s coat? 3 months ago

I went to see mom yesterday, we didn’t go anywhere, but I am going to count this because we visited for quite a while. Yes, I did miss last week, but I talked to her a lot over the phone, and to be honest, since she has moved into her new senior apartments….she has developed quite the social life. Good for her! I am so happy she is making new friends and doing things! 4 months ago
I am trying this tomorrow. Obviously I love the rosemary bread….I will see which one is best
Rosemary Olive Oil Bread
INGREDIENTS
1 cup warm water (100-110 F)
1 Tbsp. organic cane sugar
2 tsp. active dry yeast
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. fresh rosemary, chopped (or 2 tsp. dried)
1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning (or pinch of each ground garlic, dried oregano, and dried basil)
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 1/2 cups white whole wheat flour
1/2 cup bread flour + extra for kneading
1 egg, whisked + 1 Tbsp. water, for egg wash
dried rosemary, for sprinkling
DIRECTIONS
1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 10 minutes to proof.
2. Stir in the salt, rosemary, seasonings, olive oil, and whole wheat flour. Add the bread flour and stir until the dough forms a ball. Knead on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes, adding more flour as necessary to prevent sticking, until smooth.
3. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl; cover; and let rise until doubled in size, about1 hour.
4. Punch down the dough and form it into a round loaf. Place it on a cornmeal dusted pizza peel or parchment paper; cover; and let rise until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
5. Meanwhile, preheat oven (and pizza stone) to 400 F. Once the dough has risen, gently brush the top with egg wash and sprinkle with dried rosemary.
6. Bake on preheated stone for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.

7. Alex
8. Mr. Lawson
9. Kevin Crank
10. God (yes…strange one I know…)
11. ???
12. ???
Only 2 more to go…..
I guess it’s good that I can’t think of 12. There are a couple from my high school days….but I can’t remember their names….just jack-ass’s that treated me like crap, told me I would never amount to anything….So I guess my revenge is being successful!
:)
I will try to start on the letters shortly. Question is….do I mail them? 4 months ago
This is a great feeling!
Although I now have a 10 year old car, but it runs great…. I LOVE not having a car payment.
It is much better saving for the day when I will need a new car so I will have the cash to get what I want. But….. I’m fine with what I have now….plan on running in into the ground. :) 4 months ago
I have not been feeling good, so I’ve been watching a lot of movies lately.
1. Total Recall
Good action flick as expected. Love Colin Farrell….that could have tainted my views a bit. :)
2. Arbitrage
Interesting set of events in this movie. New twist on the classic man having an affair movie.
3. Stolen
I slept through most of this.
4. Emma
Gwyneth Paltrow
5. The Words
Bradley Cooper (yummy) Pretty good movie, refreshingly different.
6. The Five-Year Engagement
Interesting enough
7. Liberal Arts
I had never heard of this movie before renting it at Redbox. Enough said. But not a terrible waste of an hour or two.
8. Loopers
I am watching this movie right now. I haven’t gotten into it yet, but I’m not asleep either. 4 months ago
