The Dyslexia Association of Singapore is my dream job. They are hiring now, but I cannot apply because I still want to stay here in the US. I hope they are going to hire again this time next year, I’ll be sure to apply, and hopefully be hired! 5 months ago
Nov 16th came and I went. And as of that date, I have completed the money that I need to be able to be fully paid with my debt. However, due a major event, I don’t think I will be able to make it. You see, I had chickenpox so I was unable to report to work for a good 12 days, and I only have 2 sick leaves, which means I am not going to be paid for 10 days. Which means, my paycheck on the 30th will be very near $0. I need to pay rent on the 1st, which means, I will have to dig deeper into my pockets to be able to pay rent, and use the money I earned last Nov 16th to cover rent. Which means, I am not out of debt yet again! Sigh. This thing never seems to be over. I so want to get this out of my 43things list :( 6 months ago
I was idly looking at fares online and I am saddened when I found that the fare range from DC-Hawaii is from 700-1000. Its about as expensive as my air fare going home to the Philippines! I know I cannot afford this…so instead of this being my desired summer destination next year, I’m afraid I will have to switch plans. I guess I’ll just put it in the back burner, cos who knows, something might surprise me in the future… 6 months ago
