I didn’t mean to offend.
Glad you’re getting off to a good start today.

Sorted through my pantry—pulled out the cans that the movers dented (thanks a lot guys!) and organized things a bit better. Then I got on here. ;) Not the most productive 30 minutes so far, but at least I did something today. I’m getting used to doing this on a daily basis, which is really good.
Do cardio one day, then lift the next. the cardio days give your muscles time to rebuild between lift days.
Do you like to run? Or hike? I find that doing something like a long run or hike on weekends helps keep the weight loss going. If you choose to run, just be careful—running when you’re even a little overweight can be murder on the knees.
Good luck!
Unless that “potatoes w/ ketchup” was like ONE french fry, I would imagine it was more than 30 calories. ;)
One day of being bad won’t kill you—I promise. Just get back on the wagon, don’t let it get you down, and in a month’s time you’ll have forgotten about it.
Good luck!
Up and down, up and down. Currently 212, about 7 pounds from my goal (well, my first goal ;). I was 215.8 three days ago, so I’m headed in the right direction. (Hurray for water weight!) Gotta be more careful when I go to Vegas for a weekend.
...Missed my “appointment” this morning. Have to make it up tonight… Yikes. I was doing well last week, having established a pretty reliable pattern… I hope my weekend vacation hasn’t screwed that up.
Just have to keep my fingers crossed, I guess!
...Until I get back from my vacation. I did this reliably for a few days at the beginning of October, so hopefully I’ll just get right back into it when I get back.
Finished the second day—this time in the kitchen. Part of what makes this difficult is that I’m still unpacking from my move—I’ve got too much stuff to fit in my new place! Unpacked one big box today (mostly rubbermaid containers). Kinda disappointed with the progress so far, but I’m only 1/15 of the way there…
30 minutes were up before I knew it.
How can you tell when they’re being fake? :D
Thanks for the tip, though—I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get around to this one… Work & school are eating up so much time right now. Well… Maybe I can ask somebody to lunch…
Tomorrow morning, at 6:30. Set the timer on the microwave for 30 minutes (not start the microwave—just the timer! ;), and go for it.

It’s got interesting ideas. The basic premise is that instead of whittling down your to do list to just the bare essentials, keep all the little things on it. That way, when procrastination strikes, you can do the little things first, let the sense of accomplishment build from them, and then go after the big ones.
Just thought I’d share.
That since I added this goal, I ballooned up to about 225. :( I’m on my way back down now—currently at about 210.5. So do I wait until I’m back down to 205 or so to “start” this goal again? I’ll just mark it complete at that point. :D Hey—I’ll have lost 20 pounds, so it won’t really be a lie! ;)
What an adventure…
It’s been about 10 months since I found this site. Looking over my list, I’m a little disappointed with my progress on many of my goals. A lot of them can wait, but I need to make some progress on the ones at the top…
I guess I’m just writing this entry to kinda kick start getting a few things on my list done.
