Ciara Iveythree's a magical number ;)

My friend and her boyfriend wanted to have a threesome for a while and couldn’t find anyone willing or that my friend trusted. So, my friend asked me one day and I was all for it! I hung out with her and her boyfriend today and we busted out the chocolate syrup and whipped cream and lived out our fantasies. I definitely did not feel like a third wheel ;) It was a great experience and I would love to do it again sometime ;) 4 months ago

Ciara IveyObamaObamaObama... 2012

This year’s election was the first ever election that I got to vote in. I registered to vote last year when I was 18 and promised myself that I was not going to be one of those people who does not care enough to vote and just watches things happen. I wanted to have a part in this thing we call Democracy and exercise my democratic right to vote. If I did not vote, it would be a huge slap in the face to all the women and people of color who fought for my right to vote. So, I voted and the candidate I voted for is my President once again, for another 4 years. Every vote counts :) 5 months ago

Ciara IveyThis One's For You, Poppop <3

My poppop passed away May 20th, 2012. I wanted to dedicate my very first tattoo to him. He had colon and prostate cancer, so I decided to get a cancer ribbon tattoo. Colon cancer’s ribbon color is blue and prostate cancer’s is light blue. So I asked my tattoo artist to kinda blend the two blues so that both cancers would be represented. I wanted the ribbon to have wings so I decided on butterfly wings because they’re nature-y and my best memories of my poppop involve doing outdoorsy stuff together. Weird thing is after I decided on the butterfly wings, a butterfly flew around me when I went outside. It’s like a symbol that my poppop approved of the tattoo <3 7 months ago

Ciara IveyToo Busy To Be Lazy

I usually am a pretty lazy person who would rather just lay around at home playing on my laptop all day than be bothered to exert energy doing anything else. But now I’ve just been too busy to be lazy. I have a job and I go to school. I only have one day off a week, or 2 if I’m lucky, to just do my own thing. So, I’ll take full advantage of that little bit of free time to be lazy. But I actually like having a routine to get me out of the house every day. It’s nice to do productive things and not feel like I’m just wasting my life away all the time. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but thank goodness for work and school :) 8 months ago

Ciara IveySurvived my First Year of College

i am proud of myself for finishing my first year of college. i wasn’t sure i was going to make it because it’s so expensive and my mind-set at the beginning was that college is a waste of money since people with degrees can’t even find jobs these days. i was pretty lazy all year but i still made it through my first year with 2 As, 4 B+s, 2 Bs, and 1 B- and i feel good. 1 year down, 3 more to go :) 12 months ago

Ciara Iveywhat happens in paris, stays in paris

i just spent a week of spring break in Paris, France with fellow classmates! this was my first time ever out of the country, and even my first time ever on a plane. i saw so many famous churches like Notre Dame and monuments such as the Eiffel Tower <3 i practiced my french a lot there. it felt great to use my french on actual french people. i loved riding the metro to get everywhere. i bought so many souvenirs and most importanly, so much food!! everything tasted 100x better than american food <3 since i was at the legal drinking age there, me and some classmates went to the bar every night. a drunk french guy even stripped on our table ;p people say french people are rude and snobby, but i thought they were rather polite and accommodating. i felt like france is where i belong. i didn't want to leave, but i will definitely have to go back again someday :D 14 months ago

Ciara Ivey"Thank you for calling Calloway's"

I’m from a lower-middle class family, if that. All our money comes from child support and my mom being on disability. This is the year I start college, as well as the year I turn 18. My birthday is next month and once I’m 18, I can no longer receive child support. Therefore, our financial issues are going to be even greater. So, I definitely had to get a job asap to help out my family and pay for school becaue college is ridiculously expensive, even with all the loans. I applied to many jobs and haven’t heard back from a single one of them. Maybe it was because of the fact that this would be my first job, but I have to start somewhere. Luckily, my friend works at a restaurant called Calloway’s and she told me they were hiring. So, she filled out an application for me, put herself as a reference, and I got a call within a few days! I aced my interview and started off with 4 days of training. I’m now done my training and am ready to work full time. I’m proud of myself for being flexible and transitioning smoothly into being a working girl :) 22 months ago
