I was debating on whether or not I could call this a “mission trip”, but I think it qualifies. I went to PA with a bunch of friends and our group sang for a maximum-security prison there. It was a great experience and I would definitely do it again. 3 months ago

Well, I did sell some stuff on Etsy, though it wasn’t my work. It was some vintage stuff that I had collected. I think there might be more money in selling vintage anyway, but I might still try to do my own stuff. We’ll see. 3 months ago

After a lot of side-jobs and dead end leads, I finally got a ‘real’ job! It is 10-3 at a local church doing secretarial work. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and knew the right people… I have no administrative experience whatsoever (more the creative type) and didn’t think I’d like it, but I LOVE going to work! The actual work is easy (way better than milking cows- i never get crapped on) and I have my own office and the people are wonderful. I’m not that organized but the last lady was… add her systems to my creativity and work ethic (and tech savvy) and it’s a winning combination! I get to listen to all my favorite artists on youtube while opening mail, typing stuff, and folding bulletins. Heavennnn… The church people LOVE everything I do which is crazy because half the time I’m making it up as I go. I’M A ROCK STAR SECRETARY!!! 20 months ago

Making cheese is boring and expensive to get into at first (at least if you make hard cheese) but it was totally worth it. I made some of the best cheese I have ever eaten and if I didn’t have a job I would SO do it more often! 20 months ago
