How I did it: I started by organizing a holiday project. Typically a project or focus that has a time limit is easier so I figured that initiating something around the holidays would be a good time to get more donors involved.
After the holiday project many more of our friends and families (and friends and families of friends) became involved after seeing the success of the holiday project through pictures and a website. After this we started organizing more projects and making ongoing projects for year round goals!

Actually, starting a blog can be very rewarding depending on the cause and purpose of the project. I know a lot more people than I thought follow what I write because usually they do not give me much feedback on the blog itself but openly discuss my ideas and posting quite regularly which is very rewarding =) 6 months ago

PennyWayyy easier than I initially expected
Theres a super simple technique called the Method of Loci, it’s an ancient Greek technique for sorting and recollecting large amounts of information – personally it works great for grocery shopping.
Now my only problem is the lists stick so well sometimes I end up buying things I already bought, lol! 14 months ago

They think I’m crazy because doing things for free is unheard of here in Maracaibo where you’re lucky if you pull over to help someone who’s been in a car accident and don’t wind up in jail yourself or at best get robbed.
I think the new year is a great time to spark some change and what better example than that of self sacrifice of ones time. Probably a good idea to lead by example. I want to teach my girls how to be independent and catalysts of change as well – children learn best by mimicking what they see, right? 15 months ago
