Thinking about it, the same can be said for craft supplies. In particular sewing items. 4 days ago
I’ve just worked out it will take me around 4 hours, not eight. So its easy to imagine my delight over the decreased amount of hours I have to put in. :D 6 days ago
because the fact that I have been drinking soft drink means that I have a potential $2000 bill to get my teeth fixed because of the fact I drink soft drink every day.
I am not happy and realise that I really need to change. 6 days ago
I have worked out that I have a bit under 8 hours of work to go. God willing I will be done by the end of this week.
I know its not an excuse, but with twins its so hard to fit in, especially when they cry for no reason. But enough of that – time to get stuck in. 6 days ago
I am a bit over half way. :) 1 week ago
Putting in the time
The math is simple.
It is expected that you will spend 10 hours a week on a standard university subject. Over the course of 14 weeks (13 weeks + exam week) you should spend around 140 hours on Media Law.
A rough breakdown of how to spend your time should be based on the assessment weighting. Thus, in Media Law, this is broken down as 20-40-40.
About 20% of your time (28 hours) should be spent on the quiz and its associated reading to gain a good foundation in basic legal principles.
About 40% of your time (56 hours) should be spent on the assignment. That includes textbook/Study Guide reading about the topic you have chosen, as well as other research, writing, editing, referencing and checking. A sensible approach would be to spend roughly half this time on researching and notetaking, a quarter of the time on writing, and a quarter of the time on editing, checking and referencing.
The remainder of your time (56 hours) should be spent on exam preparation…reading the Study Guide and textbook, answering the Study Tasks and talking about media law with your class mates on the Discussion Board. That means 4 hours a week, every week, on a dedicated mission to get through the course content.
My tip: Make sure you put in the time and that you devote sufficient energy to each part of the course. 1 week ago

I hate the fact that I prepare myself to quit and then when the planned time comes I fall in a heap.
Some how, not sure how at this point, but I have to change. Otherwise I will never be set free. 1 week ago

Tonight I watched an episode of: Living with the Amish, which I found very inspiring and encouraging, as it makes me want to find out more about their lifestyle. I hope I get the opportunity to watch the other episodes. 1 week ago
I found some interesting options. I plan to get onto it this week before everything gets too hectic (I start another un I unit). 1 week ago
I want to get it done by the 3rd March. So I better get cracking on it. 1 week ago
Up the top would have to be visiting Africa and India without a doubt. 1 week ago
that for the first three weeks (at least) I am going to bust my guts to get ahead as much as possible. This I see will benefit me a lot in the long run, so I am going to do it without a doubt. 2 weeks ago
I should do some writing instead of being online. Why oh why does the internet have to be so addicting? 2 weeks ago
and they seem to have made the course a little easier – praise God for that, as I have been stressing a bit about it. 2 weeks ago
It’s not like I don’t have the ideas or time, as I have some, even if the time is only a small amount. It comes down to motivation. So if I can fix that one then there will not be a problem. So my next step is to work on motivation. 2 weeks ago
One thing I did when laying out my poems for publication is to go to my favourite poetry books and see how they lay them out. This should give you a guide to work from.
Hope this helps. 2 weeks ago
what you are trying to achieve.
It has actually inspired me to work on my writing further, with the goal of completing NaNoWriMo, Which I have not successfully completed.
I would love to hear how you get on.
Good Luck. 2 weeks ago
Sorting through my fabric I discovered that I have a lot more fabric than I thought. So I had better get sewing me thinks. 3 weeks ago
Well a lot more than I originally thought. However, not enough to over flow my large plastic tub.
A part of this goal I think will be to not add anything new to the box. Rather I will decrease what is in there due to an increase in art production.
Overall, I am very happy to simple know what I possess, even if that means that I do not over buy in the future. 3 weeks ago
I threw out a shoulder bag that I always end up migraines with when I use it.
So good bye bag = lot less pain. I can’t wait. 3 weeks ago
This afternoon (and evening) I decided that I would sort out one of my book shelves. I wanted to do this, as I feel that the clutter it holds in making me not feel the best, nor as productive as I would like.
In the beginning I found it daunting, that was until I took the advice of my husband (Just start with one shelf, otherwise it will get too overwhelming). The result is a much more ordered shelving system. Minus a box of books and magazines to donate.
I am happy with the result. I still have a lot to sort out. But because of today’s efforts I feel more confident.
I must say (for me at least) having a clean out is very releasing and empowering. 3 weeks ago

On Monday I went to craft group where I worked on my quilt. Unfortunately the help I received previously has led to problems now (there is not enough fabric covering the bottom of the quilt, and I have already quilted it). So now I have to fix it, not sure how. But I will get there in the end.
On another crafting project – I brought a beautiful pillow case that is going to make the most beautiful dress. I can’t wait to get started on it. 3 weeks ago
