How I did it: I started by walking around the house in high heels on level ground, slowly building up to walking up and down the steps with them, and then finally going out in public with them. At first, my feet were killing me, but I powered through and as I kept going the pain started to go away. Bought a blank journal this week that I plan on wrecking. Sounds like a fun little project. Mine certainly won’t be as pretty or creative as most, but I’m looking forward to just letting go and having fun with it. :) 17 months ago
I started some anti-anxiety medication about a month ago and it’s amazing how much it’s helped. I have a lot more desire to get out and do things and I’ve just been enjoying life more in general. I’ve been trying to get out of the house more, even if it’s just little things like going to the store or for a walk. I’m feeling more confident about myself and starting to worry a bit less about what people think of me. I still have a LONG way to go, but my therapist is helping me a lot. All-in-all, I think I’ve made some good progress on this goal. Hope everyone else is doing good as well! :) 17 months ago

It’s difficult, but I’m slowly learning to accept the things that I’ve done and the things that have been done to me. When things pop into my head and I want to get upset about them, I try to think of a positive thing that happened because of the negative, remind myself that it’s all in the past, and then move on to something else.
So for now, I’d say I’m doing pretty well on this goal, though I know I still have a long road ahead of me. 17 months ago
