Last week was a total disaster! I was crazy busy at work (I have quite an active job), I was completely run off my feet, didn’t take a break and didn’t have a snack before jogging to fuel up. So after running about five minutes or so, my body gave in and I had to walk. I felt like a total failure, and it was so disappointing.
Today, while there were points that I wanted to stop, I kept going and completed two laps! So that’s 3K in 25 minutes! Yayayayaya! 4 weeks ago

My skin has seriously improved since I last wrote an entry about this a few days ago. I increased my water intake – though some days are better than others, and I have started to develop a routine of cleansing, toning and moisturising.
Just need to develop this into a regular habit and we’re good to go! 1 month ago

Some days I find that I haven’t even had one full glass. How crazy is that?!
So water, and then a cleansing/moisturising routine… No wonder I look so tired all the time. Hmph. 1 month ago

5K achieved on the treadmill! So freakin’ happy! I initially set out to run a 4K, but just decided to carry on. Now I just want to achieve a 5K outside in the park. I’m going after work on Wednesday, the last time I managed to run 2k, I’m hoping to push this to 3, and aiming to work on increasing my speed at the gym. Overall, very pleased! 1 month ago

I’ve been in the mid 160s for a while now, hoping to say goodbye to the 160s by the end of next month and looking forward to meeting the 150s! 3 months ago

But one thing I really do want to focus on this year is eating breakfast in the morning. This morning I had cereal, and it only took about five minutes in total… It doesn’t need to take long at all, but it did seriously help me to wake up and get through the day!
Also, I think I was a lot less cranky! Bonus! 4 months ago

I’m really happy with the way that this goal is progressing! I think I’ve had about five or six one hour private lessons. As a result of the one-to-one tuition, I’m able to take the classes at my own pace and I am getting so much out of them! The speed at which I am learning and picking things up is far greater than if I had completed the same number of lessons in a group setting; this way I don’t have to worry about getting something wrong and being really embarrassed about it, nor am I worrying that somebody else is picking up the steps quicker than me. So far, we’ve covered salsa, cha-cha, rumba and today we touched on swing. The lessons are really fun! 5 months ago

But it didn’t work out amazingly – funny thing is I’m still using it! It’s a little on the small side, so the Kindle has to squeeze in to it. My sewing skills aren’t up to scratch so I thought that projects like these will give me some practice and will hopefully help me to work on improving my confidence when using a sewing machine.
As I don’t have any other case for the Kindle, I am going to aim to make one by the end of the month. I really don’t want to buy one because I would like a unique case which I can add a bit of personal flair to, rather than having another boring generic case! 5 months ago

How I did it: It took me several months to get to this point: I had the initial consultation, the impressions and xrays were then taken, and finally I had four pre-molar teeth removed. After all this, a month ago I had the upper brace fitted, and on Monday, I had the lower one fitted also.
I'm really glad I'm doing this because the end result is going to be amazing, but right now the pain is incredibly intense and I'm just trying to ride it through.

It’s been three weeks since I had the top brace fitted. One week to go before the bottom is fitted in as well and I can mark this goal as complete. 6 months ago

My teacher is so nice and rather patient. She understands that I was super nervous when I started and she understands that I need to take it slow. Group classes are really daunting for me, I always found that even for a beginners class, people who were there were taking the class despite the fact that they should have been in an intermediate class. So, I felt like the worst dancer, and my self esteem was really low as a result. Also, in a group class, I couldn’t just stop everyone and ask for the teacher to break down the steps for me again – now I can.
It’s really awesome, I’m doing salsa predominantly, but we’re incorporating other styles too. I’m really enjoying myself. 7 months ago

On Monday I ran the most I have ever run before – I hadn’t been running for a while and I managed to get to 2.5K and I ran continuously for 25 minutes. When I finally get to 5k on the treadmill, I want to do it out in a park or something, because it’s completely different from when you run on a treadmill. The goal is to do a 5k race!

How I did it: I signed up for a PADI Open Water course that lasted six weeks. Each week the group would meet up on a Tuesday evening and we would do a one hour classroom session and then drive to the pool to go through some skills. We were then tested over two days on a weekend at Stoney Cove in Leicestershire, where we got into the open water and explored a new world!
This is such a fun activity! It took me a long time to feel coordinated, and then all of a sudden on the very last day in Stoney Cove it all came together and I felt soooo good about it. It's a skill that I'm really glad to have obtained and I hope to continue with the scuba diving by next pursuing the advanced course, and eventually going on diving holidays! How I did it: This was perhaps one of my more frivolous goals, but something that I had wanted to do for the past five years. I originally took my navel piercing out because an ex-boyfriend didn't like it... Unfortunately I wasn't able to put the ring back in. I went to a reputable body piercing place today, signed a couple of forms and the whole thing was over and done with after a short, sharp moment. And so, now that it's finally back in, it will not be coming out unless I don't like it any more. (",) Read how I did it… 10 months ago
