I have never had this problem just because I don´t write. But I have actually seen several good ways to hack the writer´s block. Here´s the two most importants I remember:

Check www.43folders.com (not related to this site, nor I am in any way either). There are some tricks here.

Have you read “Zen and the art of the motorcycle maintenance”? There are some good clues on this too. Good advice on getting stuck in general, and getting stuck in writing in particular.

How to read "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"

How I did it: I optimized my time for reading: I uploaded an electrionic version of the book to my iPod.

Then you just read anywhere. Whenever you are waiting for your turn in the shop, waiting for the bus, etc.

Sometimes it might seem like you don´t feel like reading, but let´s be serious, you want to read the book, don´t you?

And it is a great book!

Lessons & tips: As with many things in life:

Do you really want to do it? Well, do it!

Resources:

Ipod touch (any portable device wich a screen big enough to read and small enough to carry always would have done).

Electronic version of the book.

It took me 4 months.

It made me happy
