http://greenfaith.org/files/hindu-teachings-on-the-environment-powerpoint-slides while Googling for ideas about “refraining” I looked at this search result. Nice ideas and good action steps I thought. I know for myself I have a general feeling about what actions are right but can’t always articulate why – which triggers more research and analysis. For myself, I resonated with the whole-istic sense of the guidelines without any numbers or metrics behind them…. and thank you Faustus for all the recent cheers :) 3 days ago
was last Friday. I’d been sick for two days and was just starting to feel better on Friday when we talked. Starting to feel energized again today. Looking forward to session#2 and expanding on the goals I have so far for the 4 months. 6 days ago
on Aemorniel’s post here.
I like this fresh ‘take’ on “if you do what you’ve always done you’ll get what you’ve always gotten”. Reminds me that I achieve more when I go outside my comfort zone, stray from my “to do” list and otherwise break away from the expected, the usual. 6 days ago
Thanks for posting about SketchFest! And thanks for sharing your pictures: Bunny Tea Time is my personal favorite but they are all great!! 1 week ago

What a great compliment – to encourage you to apply for more senior jobs!! Onwards and upwards for you :) 1 week ago
sometimes I’m slow on the uptake… I’m going to do a 5-day hot yoga challenge in May and I was wondering how to deal with washing my workout clothes every night. Then (lightbulb!): I realized I could just get another tank/cami and yoga pants! How does the mind simply not “see” choices sometimes? 1 week ago
I love riding the ferry and Max is enamored of it at the moment also. We took the ferry yesterday afternoon from Edmonds to Kingston and we saw a whale (!) and 3 dall porpoises (!) on the crossing to Kingston! Seems the glorious sunshine brought everything out yesterday, including the wildlife :) 1 week ago
to monthly donors to help them reach their goal of funding 100% of the projects submitted by teachers in Detroit. Supported this project. This neat project was so close to being fully funded I donated the remaining funds :) 2 weeks ago
sent a birthday card to my friend MJ: we’ve known each other since we were six! Sent notes on “sacred money archetypes” to my life coach: prep for the upcoming visioning call and 4 month workshop! Decorated the envelopes and used ‘pretty’ stamps which always makes me happy :) 2 weeks ago
The broken, bent, dusty old white metal blinds are no more! The new 2” wooden blinds arrived Thursday afternoon and Paco and I put them up that night: we both love them! 2 weeks ago
I waited tables for about seven years: a $20 tip on a $1.50 cup of coffee is definitely a huge tip :) And a 100% tip on a big meal where everyone had a couple rounds of drinks is a huge tip (and lovely to get also)! A few times people wrote short notes on the receipt about something they appreciated and I started doing that as well when I ate out. It feels really good to get happy feedback from someone you served – kudos to you for thinking about this and much appreciation to Simon and Todd Schoonover for the great comments :) 2 weeks ago
“Rainy day lunch” here is tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, sounds like you have something similar? 2 weeks ago
in your “photos” your work? They are glorious! 3 weeks ago
Lovely post and a gorgeous picture! Looking at it I feel very “la dolce vita” :) 3 weeks ago
I have not heard of this – definitely going to investigate! I would love working on a vineyard, farm, anywhere and seems like it staying someplace besides a hotel would be a bonus! You’d get to know the country and the people more intimately! Thanks for posting about this!! 3 weeks ago
Sounds like your inner grace is serving you well. Thank you for posting this, it’s a pleasure to read. 3 weeks ago
I like the offhand way you’ve approached this! You didn’t add a lot of energy or swirl around it, just very matter-of-fact “yeah, do one unpleasant task every morning” and then lo and behold you find there are no unpleasant tasks left! Well done!! 3 weeks ago
Hoping your success will inspire me to have a go at making my own vision board :) 3 weeks ago
thank you for posting the link. Nicole Hockley was very eloquent, it felt good to hear her express how she didn’t feel like she possessed any special strength she was simply doing something she felt she had to do. Maybe you could get your own segment shown on the Daily Show – the way Lewis Black had his short commentaries? 3 weeks ago
and ‘homework’ assignments are working really well – and I’m not doing these anymore. They served their purpose – “thank you” weekly meetings with myself! 3 weeks ago
Sent a nice ‘thank you’ card to my friends in Portland who put me up Saturday night last weekend! I had such a good time, they are fabulous company and being around them lifts me up! Mailed a payment with a “thank you” to our accountant :) Mailed the book “A Smile As Big As The Moon” to another woman who attended the neuro-education workshop in Portland last Saturday. She befriended me at the first workshop I attended there; she’s just naturally inclusive I think! Mailed Caroline Myss’s book “Invisible Acts of Power: Channeling Grace in Your Everyday Life” to my aunt. 3 weeks ago
I am doing a 4-month intensive workshop/coaching package with the same woman I worked with on the 90-day intuition workshop. That life coaching was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. Expectant, nervous. Reviewing my notes and ‘homework’ assignments from our last session. 3 weeks ago
