According to The New York Times, nearly one in five women in the U.S. say they have been sexually assaulted. you check in online as soon as you receive the email (sent 24 hours in advance of your departure if I remember correctly) telling you to do so. When they overbook the flight & start kicking ppl off, it’s the last ppl who check in that are the first to go.

Make sure you go through security as soon as you get into the terminal; don’t wait. I sat next to a guy that missed his original flight because the airport in Billings had four planes leaving within minutes of each other & only one of the full body scanners was working.

Also, I read on the interwebs if you have a firearm in your checked luggage (unloaded, declared, & with the proper permits, of course) they will never lose your baggage. Not sure if there’s truth to that though.
