The end of my marriage was very traumatic. I get divorced one year ago and since now I’m trying to move on. I can forgive in my mind, but not in my heart. I know that I have to let go of the past, and I want to do it, but its easier to say then to make it happens. I’m doing my best. 17 months ago
“When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us.” – Alexander Graham Bell.
“Letting go doesn’t mean that you don’t care about someone anymore. It’s just realizing that the only person you really have control over is yourself.” ― Deborah Reber. 17 months ago

“Forgiveness is not something we do for other pepople. We do it for ourselves to get well and move on”. 17 months ago
The Oxford English Dictionary defines forgiveness as ‘to grant free pardon and to give up all claim on account of an offense or debt’. I pray to Lord to help me to forgive. “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” Matthew 5:7 (NIV). I found in Google this quote from Gandhi: “The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”. And I like this other too: “To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you.”, from Lewis Smedes. 17 months ago

Today I talk with some neigbors. I send a plate of soup for two of them. One couple invite me to go to the theater next weekend. Another woman invite me to walk in the beach with her every morning. I hope they become new friends very soon. 17 months ago
Today I went to the Music School and applied for exam. I did well in the praticce exam, not so good in the theory exam, but it was enough to be approved. Next week I will start level Basic 4. I’m very happy with the achievement!!! 17 months ago
I spent most of my life just like you. From darkness to light I went in a long journey. Since I was child I had suicide toughts and I actually tried suicide. Believe me, it will end. I went to many doctors, changed medication, I started therapy, I looked for help and, finally, now I feel happy. I still use medication, but much lesser then before. I used to see life in black and white, now everything is collorfull and full of life. All pain and desperation is gone. Life has much more to offer you than sadness and upset. And it really worths the effort. Don’t give up.

“Give up on yourself. Begin taking action now, while being neurotic or imperfect, or a procrastinator or unhealthy or lazy or any other label by which you inaccurately describe yourself. Go ahead and be the best imperfect person you can be and get started on those things you want to accomplish before you die.”—Shoma Morita, MD 18 months ago
