celebrate Feb 12, the 43rd day of the year

I love how the Chai Latte became the high point of a few people’s 43rd day (including mine).

Thinking of an otherwise ordinary day as a celebration really had me on a high. It was a great day!

Yesterday’s Chai Latte was the best one I have had in a while. I actually bought one this morning from the same place and it was no where near as good.

My boss’ daughter owns a Cupcake shop and she bought in Cupcakes for us all as a treat.

After work, I went home and cooked a Chicken & Vegetable Pilaf. Which was DELICIOUS! I watched Definitely, Maybe. It’s a really sweet movie!

Overall, I had a fabulous 43rd day.

Thank you, 43T, for giving me the excuse to create a perfect moment in my day. I had to catch a train during work time; so I bought a chai latte at the station and sat and waited in the summer sunshine. I even took the lid off my chai and licked off the foam – terrible manners, and I did get a look, but I was determined to make the most of my short but inspiring break in the day.

It was a nice day. After work my husband came to pick me up, went to Villaggio and sit in Paul’s for an onion soup. After we went to the Butcher’s, I ate deep fried camembert cheese and a cheesecake, my husband ate a Cesar salat. Then we came home, brought out the dog for a walk, and now there are only 5 more minutes left from the day which I am going to spend on 43things.

found out i was accepted onto a week long course i wanted! yay to 43rd day!!

Yes, it’s 12th of February! Exactly 6 years ago I met my husband in a bar. So tonight we are going to celebrate it somewhere, not yet decided where.
And I’ve already drunk my chai latte for you!
Happy 43rd day of the year!!!!

- not supposed to be buying them at the moment (too pricey), but tomorrow, I’ll walk down to Starbucks, treat myself and join you all in celebrating.

It’s very funny to me that Legionella and fly_like_an_eagle have mentioned having Chai Lattes on the 43rd day of the year.

Every Thursday at work, my boss shouts us all a coffee from the Cafe around the corner. 4 of us girls, including myself, have a Chai Latte – EVERY Thursday.

So it’s very coincidental that the celebration of the 43rd day is now a Chai Latte which I do every Thursday anyway!

So I agree, let’s all drink a Chai Latte!

going to celebrate 12th of February, because it’s our anniversary (6th this year). So I will have a double occasion!
