Kick today's ass!

Today I’m going to kick ass at the grocery store.

I am not going to have my ankles run over by the blue hairs.

I will buy things that will last us awhile & use coupons to do so…

• Mountain of laundry
• Dishes
• Lunch
• Recyclables
• Change sheets
• Nap
• Make something sweet
• Dinner

The game plan is as follows…

• Make the desert.
• Do dishes. It seems they’re never ending…
• Straighten this place up just incase my cousin decides to come visit tonight.
• File my unemployment.
• Paint my toenails
• 3:00 head out to Auntie Jo’s for a mini family picnic – DON’T FORGET THE DESERT!
• Wash at least 2 loads of laundry
• Be a bum this evening

Yes, I really need to try like hell to kick today’s ass.

Dinner at 5:30 and then cake & ice cream for Mo with everyone at 7:30.

Time to put on a happy face for our birthday girl!!

• Go to Target for a wedding card & gift card for the happy couple
• Drive for 1 hour 38 minutes, 84.98 miles to reach the party
• Quality time w/ Dad’s side of the family (I rarely get to see them these days)
• Cocktails a plenty
• D driving home 1 hour 38 minutes, 84.98 miles while I sleep in the car =)

I worked four 10 hour shifts this week so that I could be afforded the opportunity to sit on my ass today! I slept in, ate a leisurely bowl of cereal, drank a big cup of excelent coffee, dropped the kids off at the pool (heehee), putzed around online, talked to my Momma, checked my email, made plans for our mini road trip tomorrow (we’re going to Catawba [which is near Sandusky, OH if anyone’s interested] for a BBQ wedding reception/family reunion), paid a bill and made a few posts around here. Not bad for one morning! I think I’ll follow up with a devine lunch, some Guitar Hero and perhaps a nap to round out the afternoon!! =)

I’m day dreaming of what I could do, or could have or just could enjoy given the proper amount of time.

So kicking todays ass is merely me just day dreaming of a better day.

Sometimes sad just gets a grip on us for no good reason. It will pass like all the other times. It will pass and I’ll be fine once again.

Today:
Be a bum all day – check
Go to SIL 4th of July party/BBQ @ 5:00 – check

Tomorrow:
Clean up the house – check
Do some dishes – check
Figure out what’s for dinner – check
Run over to Mayhem’s house for a visit – check
Have mini bday party for D with sis & her BF – check

The Day After That:
Do some laundry
Be a bum for a good part of the day – check
Have D’s co-worker & GF over for dinner
Go out to see more fireworks

Yesterday I cleaned like a mad woman & entertained – kicked ass!

Today I’m hitting homerun’s with the Father’s Day stuff – kick ass!

Tonight I’ll take time for me, rest and maybe paint my toenails a funky color…
