Get a new job

I have an official offer from the State of California. I have put in my resignation with Kaiser.

This goal thing really works!

I was “officially” offered the job yesterday with a salary quote which was WAY higher than I had originally thought!

I am totally moving on. I just hope my old job understands!

The HR person from the State. She said they were still working on my paperwork. She asked me to please have my TB done and to also please request my transcripts so I would have them ready when asked. Yay! It’s getting closer!
Soon this goal will be as good as DONE!

Why I wanted to get another job in the first place. I love my co-workers and I like my boss (she’s OK). However, there is a certain someone who is “helping” to “nudge” me into leaving. And boy will she be sorry when I go….!!! ...No, I’m not going to take revenge. However, she is going to be sorry when she finds out how much she will have to do on her own!

All of my co-workers, and superiors, think I should take the other job…

I think I’m going to make the leap into the unknown…..
TERRIFIED? Yes. But GOING FOR IT ANYWAY!

I told my current boss that I have a job offer from the State and she offered me a raise and a job title change…... Pending authorization….

Hmmm…. this is getting interesting….

So the state called and offered me the job I interviewed for a few weeks ago….

Ahhhh!

I think I am going to do it!

The LMP (Labor Management Partnership) Department is right down the hall from my department…..

Should I go in and introduce myself? & ask about the position?

NERVOUS!

Friday, I applied for my dream job.
Oh, how I long to be in that position. I am barely qualified…but am qualified, nonetheless.

1. 4 Year Degree
2. 5 Years experience

And various other details in which I am totally qualified….

I need to start preparing more adequately for interviews. I am such a terrible interview. However, I am sooo awesome when I am prepared.
I think I’ll be better when I really want the position.
I have to start preparing now though….
Time go get out my “Knock ‘em Dead” book.
It’s my secret weapon.

I received another bite from the State….hopefully I will be better prepared this time around.

Obviously not as well as I thought…because I didn’t get a call back. Oh well, maybe my being skeptical about the job showed through more than I thought….
