I wrote an entry on my Participate Yearly goal that it just is not going to happen this year due to lack of time.

But, I’m also updating all my goals and repeating goals, so I am repeating myself.

I also posted this over at “Finish My NaNo Novel”.

I’m looking for Running in Place, but no luck. Hey, post your NaNoWriMo usernames here. (Mine is, of course, Monotreme.)

My excerpt is up, too, if anyone wants to read/comment on it.

How’s the team doing?

It’s day three, and of course I’m in deficit (word count: 1868) But I’m getting the hang of it better this year than I did last. No editing, no checking, and trying to leave goblins of self-criticism at the door.

687 words so far in this year’s attempt at being a big fat Nano Novelist! This is the year I will win. I can feel it in my bones. Go NANO! 1000 words to go today….

What to write, what to write?! I would like to have a mental outline prior to the November 1. From my experience last year, it really helps. That way, you just write, don’t waste time.

I will have a LOT less time though what with the full time teaching and all.

But it will be fun to try :)

Next year, it’s on.
